"How's everything?"

It's the weekend and as promised, Jacob brought Chanhee out for a meal.

Jacob shrugged. "The same."

"Ayeee, even with a babysitter?" Chanhee teased, expecting workload to have reduced with a babysitter being hired.

Jacob speechlessly laughed as he was cutting his steak. "You know her, don't you? I saw your car yesterday."

Chanhee sheepishly smiled. "Not really, but somehow?" He tilted his head, unsure how he should describe his relationship with Naeun.

Jacob lifted his eyebrow. "What kind of answer is that?"

Chanhee laughed as he knew how ridiculous it was. "She's my dormmate's cousin and she lived just right opposite of us."

Jacob slowly nodded his head in understanding. "So in short, she's your neighbour."

Chanhee hummed in response. "But I don't really know her well. Hyung, you know. I don't really talk to other people."

"I know I know~ Are you not going to visit your parents this break?" Jacob questioned.

Chanhee's eyes wandered as he was chewing his food. "I wanted to but I've yet to find an internship for next semester."

"Why didn't you apply to my company? There's a mass hiring right now." Jacob suggested.

Chanhee eyed his cousin for a moment. He then shook his head. "I don't want to use connections."

Jacob stifled a laugh. "We only handle higher positions for new hiring."

Chanhee leaned forward. "Ah, really??" He then leaned back. "Right, why would a vice chairman do that anyways."

"No harm applying and nobody would even expect us to be cousins with our different surnames." Jacob stated the fact.

"True that. I'll check out the positions tonight then."

Jacob made an 'ok' sign with his fingers. "Eat more." He chinned up towards the food which Chanhee nodded in return.

Naeun bolted up from her seat and clapped her hands the moment Sunwoo scored a goal, leading his team to a victory.

After celebrating with his teammates, Sunwoo skipped his way to Naeun with his worn out smile. Naeun then patted his shoulder in congratulating him.

"Let's go." Sunwoo held out his hand and grabbed Naeun's wrist, escorting her down the bleachers.

Naeun bit her lower lips in suppressing her laughter. "You do know that I'm the only female here right."

"Uh what?" Sunwoo questioned back as he didn't get what she was saying.

She took her hand back when they had reached the last step of the stairs. "Your fangirls aren't even here to cling on to you. Why are you still treating me like a princess?" She walked ahead as Sunwoo was puzzled.

He looked around then scratched his head with his embarrassed smile and quickly caught up with the girl. "I'm just protecting you from guys out there."

Naeun scoffed in disbelief.

As they were exiting the field, she stiffened up at a dressed up man across the street.

Sunwoo caught that with his sharp eyes and raised an eyebrow. "As far as I know, that guy isn't your style."

Naeun cleared her throat as she looked away. "Y-yeah. Definitely."
