32 - Meet The Brother.

I finishes my work and came out of the shop but the white car was nowhere to be seen. 'Ahh.... did I blew it already? Maybe she lost her interest.' I thought when suddenly a car flashed its lights at me. I looked back to see a Red Audi convertible but couldn't see the driver.

The light flashed again I walked towards the car curiously. The window lowered and Yoona grinned from the driver seat.

"Hey!! Hop in."

I quickly got on to the car and looked around. 'Man! This sure is a fancy car' I thought as I looked at the interior.

"You like the car?" Yoona asked as she started to drive.

"Yeah, I like it. Cool car." I replied with a smile.

"Would you like to have one?"

"Have what?"

"A car. Would you like to have one?" She asked again.

"You wanna buy me a freaking car??!! Why??!!"

"You said you liked it." She replied with a shrug.

"You know, I really like the moon. Can you get me that too?" I asked sarcastically.

Yoona laughed loudly. At least she has a sense of humor. "Moon is not something that you can get. But I can get you a car if you want."

I looked at her in disbelief and she kind of smirked at me.

"Don't give me that look." I said with a huff.

"What look?"

"The 'I'm filthy rich and I know it' look."

She laughed again. "Well I am filthy rich. And I do know it."

I shook my head but gave a smile nevertheless. "You really are something else I guess."

Present time

Taehyung looked at the people around him, so lost in the story. He gave another kiss to Jungkook's hand. He didn't want the younger to get upset. Yoona was his past. Jungkook is his present and future.

Jungkook looked at him and gave a smile, assuring the elder that he was ok. Taehyung smiled back and continued with the story.

"She took me for dinner that day. After that day, my life has never been the same. I asked her to be my girlfriend, officially, after about a week, although we were kind of already dating."

"I got to know that Yoona is three years elder than me, lives alone but has a brother. She is a queen of a freaking business empire. I couldn't even remember how many companies she had. And frankly, I was not that interested. Her money never concerned me that much because she never behave like those spoiled, entitled brats."

"She shouldn't have this much free time but she always found enough to meet me. I was already attracted to her beauty but now I got to know her personality too. The more I got to know her, the more I fell in love with her. And gradually, my world started to revolve around her."

"Sometimes she had tough looking men around her. When I asked about that, she told me those were her bodyguards because she had some trouble with a competitor. I remember thinking it was odd but what the hell did I know about the business world. I believed her."

"We dated for about a year, I never met anyone from her family or office which was ok with me. I didn't had anyone to introduce her either. She always came to me. We went on dates sometimes but normally stayed at her place or mine. I d-didn't know she was sheltering me from her world."

"I finally graduated from the university with top class. Yoona offered me a job at one of her companies but I strictly refused it. I wanted to join a firm specialized in computer science and research and that was one of the few areas that Yoona didn't had a hand in. I already had a part time job so I was not that pressured and I was planning to wait till I find the perfect job, not blindly grab the first opportunity."

Flashback

I have been looking at places to stay since I can no longer stay at the university dorms. I told Yoona that I need to find a new place within two weeks.

"Why can't you move in with me?" Yoona asked me as she laid her head on my stomach.

"I don't know Yoona. It doesn't feel right."

"You are being stupid Tae. Look, you can't afford a good place with that part time job you have and I'm not gonna let you move in to a crappy place. So it's either you let me get you a new place or move in with me. And if it really bothers you, you can find a place later when you get a stable job with your degree."

Although I hate it when she flashes her money, I can't help but agree with her logic. And I kind of like it when she bossed me around. And it's not like she doesn't have enough space in her place. It's a damn mansion.

"Ok, I'll move in with you." I told her and she gave this loud yell of delight. I love her happy smile.

I moved my stuff the very next day. I have been to her place many times so it anyway felt like home.

One day, I came down the stairs to go to the kitchen and a man entered the house. He had this dangerous look which made me stop in my tracks.

He gave me this look that people give when they look at an annoying bug and it somehow made me uncomfortable.

"Who the fuck are you?" He asked me in an annoyed tone.

"I'm Taehyung." I replied politely.

"Are you one of her man whores?"

"Excuse me?!!" How dare he call me that?

"Don't excuse me boy!! Where is she?" The man thundered with a murderous look.

"Relax brother, I'm here." Yoona's voice came from the doorway and I immediately relaxed.

Yoona walked straight towards me and gave me a soft peck on the cheek.

"Tae baby, could you give me a minute? I need to talk with my brother." Yoona said with a soft smile and I immediately nod at her.

"Ah. Yes, of course. It's nice to meet you." I said to the man, even if was far from the truth. What can I do, it's her brother.

As I was walking back up the stairs, I heard a part of their conversation.

"What the fuck are you doing here, Sunghoon?"

"Language Yoona!! I'm your brother, I can come anytime I want. And what's this? When did you start to bring your play toys to home?"

"Taehyung is my boyfriend!! You will show him respect."

"BOYFRIEND!!"

I didn't want to hear anymore. I could already get the picture. I went to our room and picked up my gaming console.

Yoona came back to the room after about 15 minutes. I could see that she was fuming with anger but was trying to hide it from me.

I paused the game and lifted my arms in an invitation and she quickly came in to my embrace. I stroked her hair gently to calm her down before speaking up.

"So... your brother doesn't seem to like me." I asked in a soft voice.

At first Yoona didn't answer. But when she did, her voice was controlled.

"It doesn't matter. He doesn't have a say in what I do or don't. You don't have to worry about that." She looked at me with a smile and I smiled back.

But I felt uneasy as I realized that for the first time in our relationship, Yoona gave me a fake smile.

A/N - so I'll be putting Tae's story telling moments in between the flashbacks as I thought it might be better to know his emotions and thoughts, rather than the incidents that happened. But the down side is that it'll make this history story little shorter than I initially planned. Hope you enjoy it. 😊
