Sehun gave a chuckle at Taehyung's defensive pose and raised his arms in a surrendering manner.
"Relax, I mean no harm." He looked straight at Taehyung, conveying the sincerity of his words and Taehyung visibly relaxed.
"How are you two?" Sehun asked after a little pause. "How's his head?"
"We are fine. What happened to his head by the way, we didn't know." Taehyung asked, curious despite the situation.
"One of the guys pushed him and he hit his head on the chair. That's when he passed out. You were already unconscious." Sehun said without any emotions, as if he was talking about the weather.
Taehyung felt Jungkook's hand clutching his shirt tightly and he sneaked a hand behind him to hold the younger boy against his body.
"Thank you for helping us. Hyung said that you called him and gave the location." Taehyung said as he looked at Sehun.
Sehun gave a nod but didn't speak for few seconds. "Yoona was like a sister to me. We grew up together."
"I know. Yoona told me about you too."
"I figured she might have. I noticed that you recognized my name the other day."
"Yeah."
"Sunghoon told us that you killed her and ran away with the money. I was outside the house the day she died. That is my biggest regret, not being there the moment she needed me most." Sehun paused a moment, regret was very clearly in his eyes.
"You had no idea how much I hated you. If I had found you before Sunghoon did, you would have been dead right away. I do not play with my food. Good thing that Sunghoon was such a sick bastard."
Taehyung gave a low chuckle at that. What Sunghoon put him and Jungkook through is really a work of a psychopath.
"Would you like to know what really happened?" Taehyung asked tentatively and Sehun nodded his head.
Once Taehyung was finished with the story, Sehun looked angry and sad.
"I didn't knew about the deal with Wooyoung. Why didn't she came to me?!!"
"Maybe she didn't want to because you were part of that world. She trusted Soobin.
"Ahhh... that boy." Sehun ran a hand through his hair and looked at Taehyung. "We got to him few months before we found you. He's... dead. That brother of his too."
"N-no" Taehyung whispered in horror. He always hoped the boy to be safe.
"Yeah. He didn't knew where you were and Sunghoon didn't like that very much. It wasn't... pretty."
There was a silence as Taehyung cried in his heart for his friend and his once savior. Jungkook back hugged him in support.
"Well I should go now. You'll not be encountering any trouble from our side anymore. Nor will that brother of yours. Sunghoon was not much respected or loved in our world. I doubt anyone will feel the urge to revenge his death."
Sehun turned around to walk off but stopped after few steps and turned to look at Jungkook this time.
"I...uh... heard what you said. Thank you for the respect you showed her. I'm sure she's glad that you are the one who took her place."
With that, Sehun walked out of their lives, hopefully for the last time.
Taehyung held out his hand for Jungkook to hold and together, they walked out of the graveyard.
Once they were inside a taxi, Taehyung pulled Jungkook to his side, sneaking a hand around his waist.
"How are you holding up baby?" Taehyung whispered in to Jungkook's ear.
"Good, I guess. I feel relieved, you know. Like I can finally put this behind me. We can finally move forward." Jungkook said in a soft voice.
"Yeah, we can. And we will baby. I'm ready to start my future with you." Taehyung said as his heart overfilled with emotions. Jungkook however, gave a little chuckle.
"Is that a proposal Tae??" Jungkook asked in a teasing voice. "Cause you know, I'm only 20 and way too young to get married."
Taehyung laughed loudly at that. A relaxed, straight from the heart, happy laugh. He laughed for a good while before looking at Jungkook with an adorable boxy smile.
'There you go Yoona, first of many, just as I promised' Jungkook thought to himself as his heart swelled with pride.
"I know, God!! You are still a child in many ways. But we'll get there baby. It's you and me forever from now on." Taehyung said, a promise written clearly in his eyes as he looked at Jungkook with love.
Forever with Taehyung....hell yeah, Jungkook can certainly live with that.
______________________________________
Jungkook and Taehyung got married after about 4 years. The younger was not yet matured to a sufficient level but everyone agreed that he's never gonna get there.
Jungkook will always have his childish ways and being in a relationship or married is not going to change that. And it certainly wouldn't, when his boyfriend or rather husband now, keeps adoring and pampering him like a 12 year old.
Taehyung practically worshipped the ground Jungkook walked on, catering to his every wish and need. He lived for the happiness and satisfaction of the younger. Jungkook only had to ask for the moon and Taehyung would have given it to him on a silver platter.
But both of them were tired of waiting so they decided, to hell with maturity, let's get married.
They had a rather large ceremony, practically the entire village was present there. As Hoseok explained to a frustrated Taehyung, that's how things happen in small towns, everyone knows everyone.
Taehyung was never a fan of big celebrations but he would not even dream of denying anything that Jungkook wants so a big wedding it was.
At least he had the proposal the way he wanted, a romantic setup in their secret location at the lake. The whole thing was planned with the help of Jimin and to say that Jungkook was surprised, is an understatement.
The younger had burst in to tears as soon as Taehyung popped the question and was crying for a long time. So long that Taehyung began to wonder whether he will have to wait till the next day to hear the answer.
Not that it mattered, he knew Jungkook was gonna say yes. They were practically living together at that time. Jin had kicked Jungkook out of the house after he attempted to sneak in around 3.00 am, 4days in a row. But it felt nice to do things the proper way.
Jungkook calmed down enough to let out a simple 'yes' before breaking down again but that was more than enough for Taehyung. They celebrated being engaged in a very special way, skinny dipping.
And of course, the most natural thing followed after. They rediscovered each other's bodies in broad daylight, in a very public and inappropriate way. Luckily for them, no one was around.
Jin and Namjoon has adopted two children after Jungkook got married and they were the fluffiest fur balls you would ever see. Jungkook and Taehyung talked about kids and realized that neither of them are that keen on the subject.
Maybe they might consider it somewhere down the line but for now, all they wanted was each other. They weren't ready to share one another with someone else, not yet anyway. And that's all there was to say about that.
Taehyung and Jungkook has not encountered any trouble related to Taehyung's past and the future seemingly held no threat too. Both of them, and their family and friends around them, were contented with their lives.
They lived in a sort of a bubble, a little isolated from rest of the world. They were happy and that's all that mattered.
