04 - Rejection.

Jungkook was waiting by the fence next day. After how Taehyung took the food from him and from the way he spoke with him, Jungkook gained a bit of confidence to talk with him. So no more looking through the window and he's gonna say good morning to Taehyung.

Jungkook had to wait for about 15 minutes for Taehyung to come out. He anyway came there bit early as he didn't want to miss Taehyung but Taehyung seems to be running bit late too.

Finally, he saw the door opening and Taehyung came out. Jungkook reached over from the fence eagerly.

"Good morning Taehyung." Jungkook said in a bright tone. He gave a big smile but it faded quickly once he saw Taehyung's expression. It was as cold as that first encounter. If not colder.

"What's your problem? Why are you bothering me like this?" Taehyung growled in anger.

"W-what?" Jungkook was so shocked and scared of the anger that was radiating from the other that he couldn't even form a sentence to say.

"Stop being such a nuisance. Don't ever speak to me again. I would rather not see your face ever again but I know it's gonna be hard. But the least you can do is to leave me alone!!"

Taehyung quickly got on to his bike and went away. Jungkook tried to stop the tears but it was useless. He was so heartbroken and ran straight to his room, ignoring his brother's call.

He dialed his best friend's number and Jimin answered after few rings.

"J-jiminie..." Jungkook whispered to the phone as loud sobs were escaping from his mouth.

"Kookie... oh my God, what happened?" Jimin asked in concern.

"C-can you come h-here Mini?" Jungkook cried again.

"I'll come right now Kookie. Please don't cry bub. I'll be there soon. Just stay put ok. Don't cry." Jimin cut the line and immediately put on some clothes and went out to his friend's house.

Taehyung stopped the bike when he put enough distance between them. He actually saw Jungkook near the fence, eagerly waiting till he come out. Taehyung almost didn't come out from the house as he didn't want to hurt the boy.

But it's better for him to stop this before it's too late. Sure there will be a pain but the earlier he break things off the better it'll be for Jungkook. Or so he thought.

But Taehyung was not ready to see the pain and hurt that was in Jungkook's eyes. And also fear. Jungkook was scared of him. He's scared of him and Taehyung hope to God that it'll be enough to keep the boy away from him. Because Taehyung doesn't want to hurt him again.

But he will. If that's the way to keep him from getting hurt, then that's what Taehyung will do.

"I d-don't know w-what to do Jimin. One m-moment he talks with me normally and next h-he's yelling at m-me. W-what d-did I ever do to him?? What did I ever do to him that he h-hates me this much?" Jungkook was crying so hard.

Jimin tried to calm the boy in his arms but it was really difficult. Jungkook was crying so much that his body was getting exhausted.

"Shhh... don't cry bub. Please don't cry."

"It h-hurts s-so much Jiminie, please make it stop."

"Only you can make it stop Kookie. Just forget about that bastard. You have so many people who love you. Please stop crying Kookie..."

"Jiminie...Jiminie..."

Jungkook cried till he was exhausted and fell asleep in Jimin's arms. He placed the fragile boy on the bed and pulled the cover up before going out of the room.

To his surprise, he saw Jin standing outside Jungkook's door with a pained expression on his face.

"Is he sleeping?" Jin asked in a worried voice.

"Uhh... yes, Jin hyung." Jimin replied.

"Did you have breakfast yet?" Jin asked and Jimin shock his head.

"Come on, let's have breakfast." Jin slowly went to the dining room and Jimin followed the elder.

"Kookie was so happy yesterday." Jin said suddenly. "I made some food for that Taehyung and Kookie went to give that. He was smiling so brightly when he came back. Said Taehyung smiled at him. I don't know what happened this morning." Jin said with a sigh.

"He said that Taehyung was angry with him asked him to stay away from him." Jimin said angrily. "You know what hyung, I'm gonna go and ask what's his problem. He can't treat our Kookie like that."

"You can't do that Jimin. It's not his fault that he doesn't feel the same way about our Kookie. We can't make Taehyung accept Kookie's feeling. It's his choice." Jin said in a defeated tone.

"I know that. But he doesn't have to be so rude about it. And I want to know why he can't accept Kookie's feelings too."

Taehyung was working on a computer when he heard Jungkook's friend's voice.

"Hey Gyeomie, is Taehyung here? I want to speak with him."

"Yeah he's here. Is this about your laptop? I didn't know it was this urgent."

"It's not about the fucking laptop. Now would you please call him?"

Taehyung couldn't wait anymore and walked out to the front of the shop.

"What do you want?" Taehyung asked in the coldest voice he could muster.

"Come out." Jimin says angrily and walks out without getting a reply.

Taehyung quickly follows him after giving a curt nod to shocked Yugyeom.

Jimin gets in his face as soon as he walks out.

"What the hell is your problem dude? Why are you hurting my friend?" Jimin spats angrily.

"I didn't do anything. I don't like the way he attaches himself to me so I told him to leave me alone." Taehyung replied defensively.

"Look dude, I get it. You don't like Kookie. You have no freaking idea about what you are losing but it's also your choice so whatever. But that doesn't mean you can hurt him and make him cry."

"He's c-crying??"

"So now you suddenly care!! Look dude, I've known Jungkook since we were in diapers and I have never seen him this upset. Whatever your reasons are, you are an asshole!" Jimin says with a look of disgust.

"Well I don't want to hurt anyone too but I don't have a choice. I'm not someone who can afford to have attachments. Tell your friend to stay away from me. He doesn't need to get his good life tangled with my hell. And if you really care about your friend, you'll stop him before he gets really hurt." Taehyung turned and went back in to the shop, leaving Jimin utterly confused.

What the hell was that about??

April 22nd.

Oh Yoona, everything is getting messed up. I knew he must be crying when I yelled at him in the morning but it really hurt when I heard it from his friend. Jimin yelled my head off for making his friend sad. Buy I don't have a choice, right? He's hundred times better off without me. I'm just bad news. I'm glad he has such good friends to take care of him. They will look after him. I wish I had such friends too. But you were my only friend. And you left me all alone. Now I'll just suffer in my hell, alone, for all eternity. That's ok. As long as no one else gets hurt. As long as he's safe.
