After the man Dazai Osamu introduced himself, he took the omega out for food on Kunikida's dime. The three of them sat in a quiet little family style restaurant that was right across from the river. Atsushi who hadn't had anything for about a week ordered as much chazuke as he could eat, not knowing when he will be able to eat again. As he was finishing up eating the omega glanced up to see the beta strangling the alpha. The blonde haired male going on about how Dazai should actually put in effort for a mission they were on. The youngest of the three was curious as to what they were talking about.
"So what do you guys exactly do?" He questioned with a mouth full of food. The beta stopped strangling Dazai as he sat back.
"Not only is the kid eating through my wallet, he now has questions. Fine. Kid we are a part of the military in a way."
"Part of the military?" The were-tiger tilts his head looking like a curious kitten, his mouth still full of food.
"Yes. We are private investigators." Dazai replied with a smug gleam in his chocolate colored eyes. Kunikida rolled his dandelion eyes at his partner's antics.
"We are a part of an elite group of special ability users called the Armed Detective Agency." The ponytailed man elaborated to the timid omega. Atsushi looked at the both of them with shock and awe.
"So you both are on a mission right now?" Atsushi asked the two detectives. The older males nodded their heads in sync.
"What is the mission?" Atsushi realized the question he asked and panicked.
"Not that you need to tell me. I probably shouldn't even know." He exclaimed quickly.
"Actually this mission is not confidential. So telling you won't be a problem." Kunikida replied.
"We are currently looking into recent tiger sightings. The tiger seems to be wandering around the city creating panic in its wake." Dazai jumped in to explain while staring at the white haired male. The brunette had a hunch that this omega had an idea of what they were talking about based on his eyes widening. Atsushi felt his heart pound in his chest as he could feel panic come over him. He quickly stood up in a panic and backed away.
"Are you okay kid?" Kunikida stared at the kid with a suspicious glint in his eyes.
"Don't look for the tiger. Please. I-I g-gotta go." Atsushi said in a rush as he turned to leave. The blonde haired detective proceeded to get up and gripped the back of the orphan's torn, tattered shirt. The omega tried to run but couldn't get away no matter how hard he tried.
"Tell us everything you know!!" The detective raised his voice with anger. Atsushi went limp knowing he couldn't escape the beta's grasp. The omega lowered his head with defeat as his thoughts raced in his head. Once he got his thoughts in order he raised his head, eyes shining with determination.
"You should just leave the tiger alone. You can't capture it." Atsushi struggled to get away again only for the blonde haired man to let go and grabbed his arm twisting, shoving him to the ground.
"Now. Now Kunikida you know you asking questions just turns into an interrogation. You've been talked to about this. Let me try." Dazai stood up walking over to the two. He squatted next to the omega observing him.
"Now Atsushi what do you know about the tiger?" Kunikida let go of the smaller male stepping back, watching the male closely. Atsushi sat up gripping his shoulder with a grimace. He knew he could evade either of the two older men so his only option was to tell them. He looked up into brown eyes that had a hint of red in them.
"That tiger is a result of an ability. The tiger is me." Atsushi revealed.
Several Months Later
Atsushi headed out onto the deck of the ship, a chilly breeze swiping his hair to the side. He walked over the railing overlooking the calm blue ocean, gently waves slowly rocking the cruise ship. As he watched the sunset flooding the sky with oranges and reds, he thought about everything that had happened in the last couple of months. A lot had happened after Atsushi revealed he was the tiger and that his orphanage kicked him out because of his ability to Dazai. He had joined the Armed Detective Agency after an entrance exam that makes him sweat drop every time he thinks about it. After that on his first mission he, Junichiro, and Naomi were attacked by the Port Mafia Rabid Dog Akutagawa due to there being a seven billion yen bounty on his head. He defended himself by transforming into his tiger form and held out until Dazai stepped in deactivating Akutagawa's ability Rashoumon. Then the Port Mafia attacked again but this time while he was out with Yosano, where he saved a girl named Kyoka Izumi. He tried to find away where Kyoka didn't have to turn herself in, while he was thinking he took her all over Yokohama. Only for her to bring herself to the police station but before she could turn herself in Akutagawa attacked Atsushi again, injuring Atsushi and kidnapping him with Kyoka. He and Akutagawa fought again on a boat that was trying to take him out to sea. He and Kyoka escape on the agency's boat that Kunikida drove to save him. When that was all over a new situation developed when an American organization called The Guild came after him, causing chaos in Yokohama. The conflict ended when Atsushi and Akutagawa teamed up to fight the Guild leader Francis. Once everything with the Guild was over things were quiet until mysterious suicides started happening all over the world. Dazai had joined the mastermind behind all of the suicides that took place. Chuuya was called in by the government special ops team to help defeat the dragon that was created by the abilities collected by Shibusawa. Atsushi during this time remembered the first time he ever transformed and used his claws. Remembering this strengthened Atsushi's bond with his tiger, no longer thinking of his ability as a curse. He again teamed up with Akutagawa but also with Kyoka to defeat Shibusawa. When everything seemed to be calm once more chaos broke out. The Port Mafia boss and the Armed Detective Agency president were infected with a cannibalism ability which could only be deactivated by the user or if one of them died. This caused the Port Mafia and ADA to go to war trying to kill each other's leader. When both leaders wake up and find each other to fight they are then interrupted by their sensei Natsume. The ADA and Port Mafia team up to defeat the demon known as Fyodor who was also involved in the Shibusawa incident. They had found the ability user that activated the virus and had it deactivated. During this Fyodor thought he was smart enough not to be caught and that would have been the case if Dazai didn't team up with the Guild Leader. Fyodor was then captured, the city was saved once again with the joint effort of the ADA and the Port Mafia. Which brought him to what was happening now, a party thrown by the two leaders of both organizations to celebrate saving the city together. Atsushi stood there deep in his thoughts not noticing that someone joined him on the deck.
