Esmerelda opened her eyes. Where was she? Oh right. She had been captured by demonic maniacs that put her in a prison cell in the darkest depths of another dimension. Right. She turned over to see her friend awake, as well as their friendly cell-neighbor Christopher. She got up, as a guard tossed two bowls of moldy porridge in the cell again. This time it was a shade of ick-ish brown.

"Mm, great. Nice change of colors huh? What's the flavor this time, mud sludge?" snorted Christopher at the guard. He seemed to have recovered from yesterdays, ahem, situation. His tone was back to sarcastic, so-done-with-everything, couldn't-care-less style. The guard rolled his eyes and glared at the young boy.

"What were you expecting, chocolate fudge?" guffawed the guard. Now that she thought about it, that was at least the tenth guard she'd seen coming to this cell to bring breakfast or check if they were still alive. (Which was highly unlikely at this point.)

The guard left, leaving the three kids alone. Esmerelda pretended not to look, but she saw the sadness pass over Christopher's face, she knew how he felt.

            "Hey... Chris?" she asked gently.

"What is it Glug?" he sneered. He was obviously in a bad mood, (as always!) But something was bothering him. Something big.

"What's wrong? You seem down." It was meant to be a subtle question, but he rolled his eyes.

"My fathers a demon king, i'm trapped in a cell with two annoying clueless girls who have no idea what their doing and i'm dying of hunger. Other than that, i'm pretty okay." he said sarcastically. Esmerelda rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Geez dude! I was just asking! Chill out! I was thinking more of a answer like "Im not doing so well, i'd rather not talk about it, is that ok?" You aren't the only one with problems! In fact, we were sucked here from the so-called Glug Dimension! We have a lot more problems then you Mister!" Esmerelda stopped to catch her breath, and she sighed.

"God, Esme, I haven't seen you this angry in like a year. Y'know what I think? You both need to chill out." Aquamarina snorted. She had woken up and was now glaring at the two arguing people. Esmerelda's ears turned pink. So did Christopher's. They both realized how stupid they looked, bickering like kindergarteners.

                "Sorry Aqua." Esmerelda apologized.

"Its ok, I knew you needed to let out anger somehow." Aquamarina acknowledged. Suddenly, Esmerelda had a idea. It sparked in her like lightning.

"Guys... I think I know how we can get out."
