As I sit here to write this, I am in awe and in shock at how fast this has been. In my current present, I am outside, watching tiny birds hopping about in the grass. I just finished editing a few of the last chapters of this story as I realized that the end is right here.
I'm not sure I've already said this, but this story was such a fun project for me. As most of my projects are, because why on earth would I write something that isn't fun for me? But this one in particular was fun for the simple reason that our main character was so unlike me, it gave me the opportunity to see the world through someone so different. I must admit, this was quite the journey.
As always, at the end of my stories, I want to thank a few people.
First off, if you bothered to read this story from start to finish, I want to thank you. You really didn't have to read this, but you still clicked on it. That means a lot to me.
Secondly, I want to thank P. You know who you are. (Together we are GPS). And if you've read my past stories, you might've seen her presence in my comment section. She likes to dominate in that area...
Thank you to everyone that supported this idea before it was even posted on here. From commenting and cheering me on through Instagram, thank you so much.
Finally, I want to acknowledge the topic of the first two books in this series. Yes, they have been taken down. As of right now, you can only read Book 3 and 4 (this one) because I have decided to rewrite Book 1 and 2.
The reason for this is because I hadn't truly found my writing voice when I wrote those, and I want the series to make some sort of sense style-wise for myself. Forever Crimson was written when I was 14-16. That was years ago. So I want it all to match better.
All of that to say, please expect Book 1 very, very, soon.
And a few other things, of course.
EDIT: A little disclaimer - I have included new banners at the end of each chapter, but that has been the only change so far. I took inspiration from a few writers here on Wattpad who also have banners at the end of their stories, so this idea is most definitely not mine.
