Forget forgot forgotten. The darkness in Oden's new world. Facing a dangerous enemy is not easy. The bloodhound's plans are unknown as he brings forth new allies. The kingdom is covered in it's shadow as he builds a wall of pain, fear and torture aro...
"Are you sure?" Griselda whispers, her voice filled with a bit of sadness knowing well what her daughter is about to do is one of the biggest burdens she has ever taken upon herself. What she did not know was in Oriela's thoughts she saw what her mother's love was like for Xander and how it made her want to change, just like her and Oden. How she was willing to let go of all that to do something away from her selfish thoughts as others would consider. To think she filled her head with all that anti alpha shenanigans like she knew she might fall in the same trap was considerate. She never wanted her to be troubled in making easy kingdom decisions like her. Anyway that has happened already and no matter what she does now nothing will change. She loved Oden so much that is true but if she never met him she would have never loved him. So it's best to think that way. With his amnesia it was easy for her to go on making life choices without ever thinking of a person she never met.
"Yes call them, tell them to set everything up. I wanna do it." " What made you change your mind?"Oriela raises her head from her mother's hold and looking into her blue eyes lighter than hers she smiles. "You've always been my role model and I've always wanted to be just like you." Griselda smiles at her daughter's comment though deep inside all she could feel was the loud screams of her despair, her daughter's silent scream but with that She felt proud that she is part of Oriela's path. Even so the assurance and smile was not enough to convince griselda that her daughter was any where near thinking about her as her role model wen she considered that choice. Something else was pulling the princess's strings. "Am going to bed. Long day tomorrow right." Griselda nods letting go of her allowing Oriela to walk back to her room.
Away from prying eyes she looks back knowing very well why she decided otherwise, it was very simple. What is there left for her? Ever since that night when Oden suggested for them to leave and go where they can not be judged she decided to pull her hand away, she made her choice and let the love of her life walk away, the one person that can complete her broken puzzle. The boy she gave her heart to is no longer his, he walks in darkness lost in the island of amnesia. The few days she was able to see how quick their fight to love and protect each other gets torn apart by the girl with the black orbs. Kyla builds her love from the debris of their once had. She felt torn each time she saw them together, laughing, talking and kissing. As much as she didn't want to be jealous of what was going on she knew nothing in her power could stop the pain in her shattered heart. She chose her crown and her people over him, hundreds over one why would she not do the same now that she lost him, now that she had no will or right to him. No matter how many times her mother's old saying 'your first love doesn't have to be your last' as a consoling sentence, it just sent nothing but more hurt like a bullet in her brain. Now that she said yes she needs to start putting in some effort in loving Eden. Eden who has been nothing but kind and caring, patient and loving. He deserves to be loved back and that's what she'll have to do.
"She accepted?" "Yes Xander, do I need to repeat myself a million times, the ceremony will go on as planned."she notifies him as calm as possible not to show the hurt she felt deep inside. "I'll inform Eden." "Did you talk to him?" "Yes, it was a good talk that made me realize both my children are broken and being their father I don't have a good damn reason when it all started happening or know what to do." he narrates as he stares outside the beautiful vegetation around calming himself too. Just like Griselda he also knew deep down there was more to their children's lives than they could point out. They both know they have hurt their children and nothing in the world can save them from that.
