"Zero. A number?"

Zero looked even more mad at Matt. A this point, she looked about ready to kill him. Alice stood between Zero and Matt to stop any up coming violence.

"I asked to be called that. Only to keep my name a secret. Now I don't even know it."

Zero crossed her arms.

"Would it help if I said I'm sorry?"

"No, Matt."

Matt took a breath and removed his backpack. He held it up for Zero to see.

"Would this help? I brought you some clothes so you don't have to wander around with a hospital night-gown."

Alice moved to her mother's side. Zero moved closer and grabbed the backpack. She opened the bag and looked inside. She smiled.

"You know me to well." She laughed "I might have to kill you."

Matt smirked.

"Let's hope not."

She moved towards the bathroom and shut the door behind her. Matt looked at Alice and her mother.

"Look, don't tell her I said this, but she's a softy. You just have to get to know her."

Alice looled at the bathroom door curiously. She longed to know more about Zero. Zero opened the door slowly and quikly moved to the side of Alice. She grab her arm and smiles.

"Did Matt say anything he might regret? Like how I'm a softy?"

A from of anger seemed to be walled behind that smile. She stood straight and moved to Matt after getting a yes from alice.

"Matt? Have you been followed? Is that thing still after us?"

Alice looked at them confused. Her mother looked at them and said.

"Who would have followed you?"

Zero looked at Alice's mother, then at Matt.

"The dark one. He's a death like figuer. Do you guys not know of the prophecy?"

Alice and her mother looked at them.

"What prophecy?"

"The prophecy your told about in school. Did they stop with that?"

Matt looked convinced they should know. A glimmer of recognition sparked in Alice's eyes. She looked at Zero, and with a grim tone said.

"That one."
