Chapter 8 pt. 2

As she neared Naruto's house, the loud music was already penetrating her ears. She sighed and pulled her mask up to her nose.

I remind myself of Kakashi sensei like that.

She chuckled softly and entered the house.

Wasted and sober teenagers were dancing and chatting throughout the house. Everybody seemed to have a great costume.

From the corner of her eye, she noticed Tenten and Hinata in the yard through a window.

She smiled beneath her mask and walked toward them, bumping into a few people here and there.

Finally arriving at where her two friends were, she then remarked that everybody was actually there, with a few members of the Akatsuki as well.

"Yo!" she said with a small wave.

They all turned their head to the owner of the voice. Shiemi chuckled a little and crossed her arms on her chest.

"Can you guess who I am?" she asked after seeing some frowns on her friends' faces.

"...Don't tell me that.." started Ino with big eyes.

"You're Shiemi!" squealed Sakura as she got up to hug her friend.

"Bingo!"

"Oh my God you cut your hair!" Naruto shouted with a surprised face.

Shiemi nodded and rubbed sheepishly on her neck with a small smile. "Yeah hehe."

"Damn I never knew ninjas were this hot." whispered Hidan to his friends, earning a low growl from Itachi.

"You look SO good!" Deidara said.

"Thanks Dei! Hey Shikamaru, don't I remind you of someone?" Shiemi added.

"Definitely Kakashi sensei!" he replied with a laugh.

They all followed him in his laughter.

"Hey gorgeous. Take this seat!" Hidan said with a beer in one hand, patting the empty seat between him and Itachi.

As she walked toward the seat, a strong arm snaked around her waist to pull her away from the group.

"U-Uchiha! What are you doing?! Wait-"

The man Shiemi recognized as Sasuke didn't even glance back and led the two of them inside of the house.

The action of the Young Uchiha left everyone in the yard shocked and curious.

It was Naruto who broke the silence first.

"Is there...a thing between these two?"

Tenten shrugged, as well as the remaining girls.

After a quiet walk toward the nearest empty bedroom of the house, Sasuke let go of the brunette and looked at her in the eyes.

He wasn't going to lie. This ninja costume really suited her. Maybe a little too much considering the hungry stares of his brother's friends.

Hell, why was he caring about such things.

Putting his hands in his pants pockets, he leaned against the door and cleared his throat.

"What the hell is wrong with you Uchiha?!" yelled the blue eyed girl.

She started to panic again at the thought of Karin. What if someone saw them? What if their friends were going to gossip about it at school? Too many thoughts were running in her little head.

The ravenette frowned slightly and crossed his arms on his torso. "Why didn't you come for the science project?"

He wanted to ask why she seemed so down and stressed for the past week and why she obviously seemed to avoid him in public today.

But he couldn't. Right? Why would Uchiha Sasuke care about such a girl?

But he couldn't help it. He missed their small arguments in Science class, how she would cutely laugh whenever he messed in french class.

He sighed mentally and approached the girl rather hesitantly.

"I..I had something to do." she finally replied after some time, drifting her blue eyes from his onyx ones.

Sasuke cocked an eyebrow at her response and cupped her chin to lift her face toward his. "It's Karin right?"

Shiemi's eyes widened and instantly bites her lower lip, meaning she was trying to find a correct answer.

Over the time they spent together in class and at his home, Sasuke started to learn her body language.

"I saw her picking on you when you were practicing with the other cheerleaders."

The blue eyed girl remained silent but her eyes were saying yes.

Sasuke tensed slightly and ran his hand through his hair with a sigh.

"Why didn't you tell anyone about that?"

"I didn't want to bother anyone with my problems." The girl replied coolly. "And yet you just put me in another one."

She then raised her arm up, forcefully shoving his arm off of her before running out of the room, leaving a shocked Sasuke inside.

As Shiemi ran toward her house, a certain red haired girl and two girls beside her watched her enter with Sasuke and leave without him in that bedroom.

"Still need to learn your lesson huh?"
