Chapter 16

After Monday's events, the rest of the week flew by quickly.

It was finally Friday, the last day before the awaited two-week break. I was heading to my modern literature class that I shared with some of my friends. We arrived in class a few minutes before the bell rang.

"Say Shika, Shiemi, did you guys do the homework for Obito sensei class?" asked Naruto as he leaned toward us. I slightly turned around to face him, not wanting to catch the eyes of a certain ravenette.

"Don't tell me you didn't do it?" I asked back.

He smiled widely and shook his head. "I completely forgot!"

Shikamaru and I sighed. "You're troublesome, Naruto."

"I'll give you my notes after this class." I replied.

The Uzumaki leaned even more to catch me in a hug. "Thank you Shiemi! You're a life saver!"

"Yeah yeah. Now let go or you're gonna make me fall backwards!"

After about 10 minutes later, Kakashi sensei finally came and simply sat down at his desk with that pervy book of his.

"Alright class for today you'll simply fill in this quizz to see what you learned from the previous book we read. You have until the end of the class. Tenten please distribute these to the class. Enjoy!" he said with an eye-smile before returning to read his book.

The class groaned in annoyance and started to fill in the quizz as soon as they received it.

I heard Naruto cry in despair behind me and chuckled slightly.

After 30 minutes I was all done and got up to give my paper to our teacher.

Back at my seat again, Shikamaru and me started playing tic-tac-toe on a random sheet of paper to pass the time.

Suddenly, I felt something soft hit my head and a small piece of paper fell on my desk.

I cocked an eyebrow and turned around to see if anyone was looking sus  (a/n: *coughs* among us *coughs*).

They were either filling in the test or doing whatever to pass the time. I shrugged and opened it.

"Come and meet me in front of the gymnasium at the end of our Science class."

Huh? Who's asking me this? Someone who's in this class and in my science class as well.

I put the paper in my uniform jacket's pocket and rested my head on my arms until the end of class.

DRIIING!

At the sound of the bell ringing, we all dashed out of the classroom to walk toward the gymnasium for our P.E class.

"Man that test was so awful!" Naruto whined.

Tenten nodded her head with a loud sigh. "If I knew I would have read that book much more thoroughly."

"It was easy you morons." Shikamaru said.

"How did you find it Hinata?" I asked her.

"It w-was simple...i-if you read and understood the book."

I nodded my head at her answer. "I think so too. Well here's our locker. See you on the field boys!"

Le Timeskip~~

"I'm sooo tired! I shouldn't have pulled that all nighter just to watch Jujutsu Kaisen.."

"Stop whining like that Shiemi. It's our last class you'll then finally get to go home and sleep!" Sakura said.

"Yeah right. Just one more class." And that meeting with that unknown person.

As usual, I sat beside Uchiha and leaned my head on the palm of my head.

The class started quickly, with Orochimaru sensei lecturing us about the effect of gene alteration on an organism.

Boring. Slowly, I could feel my eyelids getting heavier every seconds. Suddenly the whole room went dark and I couldn't hear anything.

"Oi. Oi Shiemi. Wake up class is over. Shiemi!"

I felt someone shaking me. I fluttered my eyes open and saw Uchiha shaking softly my arms with his eyebrows knitted. My cheeks tinted a soft color of pink from the proximity of his face.

"Huh? I fell asleep?" I yawned and stretched slightly. "Thank you."

He got up from his chair and shook his head. "You shouldn't do all-nighter when we have a long day of school like that."

"Yeah I know." I mumbled.

The Uchiha smirked and left the classroom, leaving me by myself.

I sighed and left as well after gathering my things.

Finally arrived in front of the gymnasium, I sat on a bench near the door and waited.

4:47PM. They better hurry or mom is gonna kill me.

I shivered at the thought of Mom being mad at me.

As if on cue, a boy all too familiar walked toward me with a neutral face.

I widened my eyes and gasped. "...You?"
