Chapter 1

Shiemi sighed as she closed her school bag. The clock on her bedroom wall showed 7:17 AM. She tugged slightly on the skirt of her uniform with a small smile.

I still have time. I'll go get breakfast, she thought.

Putting her backpack on her back, she headed downstairs to grab something to eat before going to school. Her two parents were already there, sipping on their coffees while reading some newspaper and contracts.

"Morning Mom and Dad." the brunette called.

Her father looked up from the newspaper he was holding and smiled. "Good morning darling."

"Oh hey good morning sweetheart! Ready for your first day of school in Konoha High?" her mother said while drinking her coffee.

Shiemi shrugged and took a bowl to put some cereals and milk before taking a seat beside her father on the dining table.

"Meh. The real first day of school was about 2 months ago. That means I'll have to study hard to catch up." she sighed.

"You will make it up in no time darling. After all you're Mikazuki Shiemi." her father smiled.

The teenage girl grinned a little and started to eat her cereal bowl. A few minutes passed by and Shiemi's mother got up while holding some papers in her hand.

"I have to go. I have a meeting with a client soon. Have a nice day sweetheart and don't forget to socialize with the kids there!"

And with that, she rushed to her car not without pecking her daughter's forehead and her husband's cheek.

Shiemi checked her phone's screen and puffed her bangs. "I'll have to leave soon too."

"Do you want me to drop you to school?" the patriarch of the Mikazuki family asked.

The brown haired girl softly shook her head with a smile. "Nop dad it's okay I will take the bus. Beside it's already 7:27 you can't be late to work right?"

He smiled and nodded his head yes. "Alright then. Be careful and have a nice day at school darling." he said with a kiss on her forehead.

It was chilly outside, not really surprising for a day in November. Shiemi was waiting for the bus, airpods in her ears, blasting the songs in her "ride & vibe" playlist. Soon enough, the bus came and she got into it, taking an empty seat beside the window.

The ride to school wasn't very long. She could even walk instead of taking the bus. But she wasn't feeling like it today.
The Mikazuki girl walked toward her new high school with a slight apprehension.

Geez..this school looks so big...

She puffed her bangs and headed toward the principal office, ignoring a few people in her way. Being a new student two months after the beginning of the school year was stressing enough.

Having the office on the ground floor made things easier for Shiemi. Finally arrived in front of it, she gently knocked on the door. After waiting for what felt like 5 minutes, she was called inside.

Beside the large desk was a rather young looking woman with short black hair and green eyes. Shiemi bowed respectfully and smiled.

"Hello miss. I'm Mikazuki Shiemi, the new student. Erm...I'd like to have my class please."

"Ah so you're here. Here you go, Miss Shiemi. You will be in class 2-C. I wish you a good year here in Konoha High!" she said with a sweet voice.

The secretary grinned and handed her a paper with her time schedule.

And with that, Shiemi smiled at her and headed toward her class. She looked down at her time schedule and sighed.

English class on the third floor. Yay. And it seems like class is about to start.

As if on cue, the bell rang meaning the debut of the 1st period.

Man why don't they put some elevators in here. Finally arrived at the third floor, Shiemi started looking for her classroom.

Room 312...313...314...ah finally! Room 315!

She knocked softly on the door and waited for a response. Shortly after, she heard a man voice saying "enter!" She opened the door and entered the class not even daring to glance at the student who had their eyes glued on the new student, keeping her blue orbs on who seemed to be the teacher.

He had dark eyes and short dark hair as well. He stopped in his tracks and shifted his body toward the girl.

"Hello miss. Could you please introduce yourself?" he said.

Shiemi gulped and walked further into the class and stopped beside the teacher before turning toward the class with a small (nervous) smile.

"Hi I'm Mikazuki Shiemi, a transfer student. Nice to meet you all." she said with a slight bow.

"Oh so you're Shiemi! Well nice to meet you. I'm your english teacher, Uchiha Obito. Please take a seat wherever you want." he replied with a grin.

The brown haired girl nodded and looked up to glance around the room. Man I don't know anyone here...

She puffed her bangs and walked toward an empty seat beside a girl with pretty brown eyes and two buns on her head. Shiemi smiled softly while putting down her bag and getting her things out.

The buns girl smiled excitedly and waved at her new classmate. "Hi there! I'm Tenten nice to meet you!"

Shiemi sent her a grin and grabbed her hand to shake it. "Nice to meet you too, Tenten!"
