"Sasuke?"
"Yes babe?"
The soft sounds of her footsteps echoed throughout her room as she walked closer to the ravenette who was sitting on the edge of her bed. She stopped right in front of him and smiled.
The confetti from earlier were still on her hair and the sweet smell of vanilla and rose emanated from her. A scent that Sasuke truly adored.
The Uchiha snaked his arms around her waist and returned her smile.
It had been two hours since the end of the party and everyone left, even her parents as they had a flight to catch.
Well, it's not like she minded anyway. She's been longing to have a nice and quiet moment with her boyfriend ever since this very morning.
One of her hand found place on his right cheek, her thumb caressing it gently. His skin was a little hot from the spirited party they experienced moments ago, whereas Shiemi's hand was slightly cold.
That was something usual to her and she never really understood why her hands would be cold when the rest of her body could be burning.
The brunette bent down and kissed his forehead, mimicking his gesture from earlier.
"Thanks for today. I had so much fun."
Sasuke placed a hand atop of the one she placed on his cheek as he snuggled against her hand.
"You deserved it. Now come here, I still need to give you my last present."
She arched her eyebrows at his words. "A last present? What could it be after everything you gave me-"
A small yelp left her pink lips when her body suddenly went down. Now there she was, her legs on each side of Sasuke, straddling him. A smirk was plastered on his pretty face.
Quickly, she locked her arms around Sasuke's neck. The ravenette watched her quietly, amused by her flustered state.
"Close your eyes."
Shiemi sighed as she complied to his demand, using one hand to hide to light from her blue orbs.
Sasuke smiled gently at the sight. He slid a hand into his pants' pocket to grab a rectangular box. It was a nice blue velvet box.
He opened it, revealing a sparkling white Swarovski necklace, with two crystal stones shaped like twin hearts.
His hands delicately picked up the necklace and attached it around her neck.
The feeling of Sasuke's hands on her and the cold metal made her slightly shiver.
"You can open your eyes."
The brunette let down her hand her looked down to find a dazzling necklace around her neck.
A soft gasp left her lips when the realization hit her. She looked back and forth between her grinning boyfriend and the necklace.
"Sasuke..."
"This is the perfect gift for you. It combines both elegance and romance. Those two hearts represents us, and how attracted to each other we are. It has been a year since we started dating and much more since I started liking you Shiemi. I'm so happy to have you in my life."
She took a few moments to realize what was happening, completely frozen in her movement.
"I love you Shiemi. You don't have to say it back but I just wanted to let you know. My feelings for you are strong." he breathed out.
During these few seconds of total silence, they observed each other without blinking.
For only answer, she pressed her lips against his. By removing them, the brunette whispered to him,
"I love you too, Sasuke."
For him, it was as if time had suddenly stopped. Shiemi's heartbeat had sped up from the moment the Uchiha leaned over her, trapping the girl in his embrace.
"You are and always have been, my dream." she continued.
He slipped a finger under her chin and lifted her head to make her look at him in the eyes.
"Kiss me." He prompted her, almost begging.
Her heartbeat was so strong now that she felt like Sasuke could hear them. Slowly, gently, he captured her lips tenderly. They tongues crossed and overlapped in an exchange filled with passion.
At that moment, they both knew it would be just the two of them,forever.
