Comfort - Asami Sato

(Prompt: Korra just cheated on you with Mako, and you run to Asami for comfort.)

Second Person

You had just came back from taking Naga out on a walk, when you heard moans coming from you and Korra's shared bedroom. Quickly but quietly, you opened the door to see Mako on top of Korra.

You were mortified by the sight, tears gathering in your eyes. You wanted to say something, but nothing came out. All you could do was leave, that's all you knew how to do right at that moment. You weren't sure where to go, you just went to the place you thought was the safest; Asami's house.

You knocked softly on Asami's door. So soft that if Asami hadn't been walking right past the door, she wouldn't of heard you.

"Y/n?" Asami said confused. Your eyes were red and puffy, plus it was now raining outside so you looked like a wet puppy. "U-um, I was j-just walking around t-the neighborhood." You were a terrible liar. And as your best friend, Asami could see that. "Y/n you don't have to lie to me, what's really going on?" Asami asked, grabbing your waist and pulling you inside. "I was coming back from my walk with Naga and...Korra was...cheating on me w-with Mako," You let a couple years escape before continuing. "I-I left, and didn't say anything...I just left." You said, finally breaking down. Asami held you close and tight, every once in a while kissing you forehead. "Well, come on, let's get you into some dry clothes." Asami said, taking your hand leading you to her room.

After you got some new clothes, Asami made sure you were warm and if you needed anything. Currently, you two were sitting on her bed, Asami's arms wrapped around you. And you cuddled into her side. Every now and then, you heard Asami's breath quicken. You were curious as to what was going through Asami's mind. "You okay?" You asked. Asami looked down, blush colored all over her cheeks. "Um, I know that you just went through something with Korra, but I would never do that to you. If I had the chance...I would treat you like a queen. So, I was just thinking maybe you could consider-" You cut Asami off with passionate kiss. When air became a problem, you two pulled away. Keeping your foreheads touching, and have huge smiles on your faces. "I would love to give you that chance." You said, caressing Asami's cheek softly. "You won't regret it!" Asami exclaimed, leaning in to kiss you again, but a loud knock downstairs interrupted you two. "That's probably Korra." You said sadly. Asami noticed your defeated expression, "Don't worry, I'll just tell her you aren't here." Asami kissed your cheek.

At first you heard hushed voices, but they soon got louder and louder. "I know she's here Asami! Stop lying!" You heard Korra yell. You began to shake a little when they became even louder. You finally decided to go downstairs, and end this with Korra.

As soon as your foot hit the last step, Korra was already all over you. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming to Asami's house? I was worried sick!" She asked you, anger written all over her face. "Why didn't you tell me you've been cheating on me with Mako?" You asked. Korra face went totally and completely blank, guilt soon taking its place. "I-I." Korra didn't have a thing to say for herself, which angered you terribly. "I trusted you with my heart...and you just threw it away! I thought I meant something to you." You said, voice starting out loud and strong but then becoming soft and weak. "You do, I just-" Korra instantly stopped talking when she tried to take your hands in hers, but you pulled away. Tears were swelling in your eyes, Asami could see that from where she was standing. She walked up to you, wrapping an arm around your waist protectively. You automatically leaned into her body, not being able to even look at Korra. "I think it's time you go, Korra." Asami said.

Korra looked so defeated, but you couldn't bring yourself to feel sorry. She broke your heart. Korra left the two of you, not saying a word while she exited. "Are you okay, babe?" Asami asked cupping your cheeks. You smiled at the name she'd given you, "I will be soon." You said, hugging Asami tightly.
