Her screams were so loud it echoed through the forest of trees. Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. This is a mission. You don't know a single person inside. They are your mission. They are hostages. You don't know any of them. We need to get them out alive at what ever costs. Eliminate the problem. You don't know who they are.
That woman that just screamed is not your childhood best friend. She is not the girl you have been in love with since you first set eyes on her. She is not the girl who was your first kiss. She is not the woman you lost your virginity to. That woman that just screamed is not the one you want to spend the rest of your life with. Her name is not Ally Peterson. She is no one.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breath out.
"You okay Cain?" Ryan's voice came through the headset.
Breathe in. Breathe out. "I'm good to go!" Breathe in. Breathe out.
"Okay. There are seven men all together. They are armed. Two of them look ready to bolt out the door. Three on them are wearing smiles. Two are upstairs appear to be dead. Our main target is the leader. He is a black male about 6" 5'. There are 4 hostages. The youngest female looks to be unconscious. The older female looks unharmed. The older male has at least a gun shot wound to the leg. The other female is not in good shape at all. She is need of medical attention asap." Liam recited the information.
Breathe in. Breathe out. You do not know them. They are not your family. She is no one. They are a mission. Breathe in. Breathe out.
"Ryan, are you set up?" Rodney asked.
"Good to go."
"Liam?"
"Lets do this."
"Cain?"
"I'm good."
"All of the men are focused on the leader. He is positioned in the center of the room. He is not paying attention to anything besides the female in front of him. Two men are standing west side by the older female and the other two are on the east by the older male." Liam informed us.
Another scream echoed through the woods and I cringed. Breathe in. Breathe out. She is no one.
Ryan was on the west side of the house while Liam was on the right. They both had their sniper rifles ready and aimed. I was positioned right in front of the door, hiding within the trees. I could see everything that was happen to the female. She was getting burned by a metal object.
Breathe in. Breathe out. She is no one. This is a mission.
I moved into my final position at the right side of the home, directly in front of it. Rodney was on the left. From here I could see the older female staring at the female being tortured. I could also barely see the youngest female passed out at the edge of the stairs. So my guess was Rodney had a perfect view of the older male.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.
"In position." I said through the headset.
"Same." Rodney agreed.
"Ready." Liam added.
"Go." Ryan fired.
Two shots were fired as Rodney and I ran for the house. Breathe in. Breathe out.
"I don't have a clear shot of target. Too risky. Could hit hostage." Ryan said.
"Same here." Liam agreed.
I lifted my gun shooting the one Ryan hadn't already hit. I paused while Rodney did the same to the man on Liam's side.
"Good shot. Both down." Ryan informed us.
By this time we were both at the opened door. We froze when we saw he had a gun pointed at Ally's head.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Her name is not Ally Peterson. She is no one. Breathe in. Breathe out
"Don't move or she is dead." The man threatened. In all honesty he was quite scary looking. He had black eyes and an ugly scar on his face. Not to mention he was like a fucking giant.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Before I could even blink, my dad grabbed the man's leg and yelled. "Go Ally!" The man went to turn, when Ally pushed herself out of his arms and flew to my sister. Quicker than I could register, she threw Darcy's body to the side. A shot rang making my dad yell out. I turned to look at Ally and watched as she pulled a gun from where Darcy was laying and fired. She didn't stop until the gun clicked empty.
It seemed to all happen is slow motion as the guy's eyes went wide and he slowly fell to the ground dead.
It was over. Rodney and I stood rooted in our spot as we looked around the whole house. I could hear sirens in the background getting closer. We had called Mason and had him send men and an ambulance before we went in. He complied. My mom was by my dad's side sobbing her heart out. He had ben shot in the leg and then in the arm, but he would be fine. My sister was finally waking up looking around the room in horror and confusion. Ally.. she was staring wide eye at the man who had come to ruin her life. She was kneeling on the ground in nothing but her bra and pants. Blood was covering all of her features and she seemed to be in shock. I quickly moved to when she screamed in pain, knocking me back to the present. I rushed to her side cradling her to me. Rodney ran up stairs to make sure that the two men up there were really dead.
"I knew you would come." She whispered.
"I promised I would be back." I told her tears coming to my eyes. Her whole face was bruised and bloody. Her hair was matted with sweat and blood, and it looked like her nose was broken. Her eyes started to roll back into her head and I shook her.
"Don't leave me Ally." I begged. She tried to blink her eyes a few times, trying to stay awake.
"Ally please. Don't leave me!" I sobbed as she fully closed her eyes.
"Ally wake up!" I shook her with all my might. "Damn it. I love you. You can't leave me. I need you. Please." I begged through the tears.
I was still begging her to wake up when the paramedics pulled her body away from mine and placed her on the gurney, rushing her to the ambulance.
