When I walked off the steps a cold gust of wind hit me in the face. I wish I was smart enough to have grabbed a jacket before I left. To late now I wasn't going back in there so that my parents could force me to go to some stupid therapist. I had to get as far away from my house as possible so I called the only person that has been there with me every day since the accident.

The phone rings and then I hear Ashton's voice "hey what's up?" I kick a rock from the driveway to entertain myself and ask "so i just need relaxing time and I just can't do that at home right now. Would you mind picking me up and just taking me to the beach or something?" He says that he'll be there in a few minutes so you just walk to the end of your driveway and wait.
"Why would you wait at the end of the driveway when you can wait inside or on the porch like a normal person" Michael laughs out. I laugh with him saying "it's cause I'm not normal."

I take a step back from where i'm standing and stare at the ground. Even something as simple as a driveway triggers the most painful memories. I can't deal with those memories right now though so I turn around and walk to the porch and wait there instead. I see my parents peek through the window and stare at me.

Why did they have to push me? They were trying to hard to make me the way I used to be but I will never be that girl again. It makes the situation worse that my parents want me to be something I can't be. As I'm thinkin this Ashton pulls in the driveway and I walk over to his car and jump in.

I am instantly deaf as soon as I get in the car. Why did he always have his music so loud? I reached over and turned the music down and he just turned to me with a frown on his face. I laugh for the first time in a while and say "it's ok Irwin you can still hear it. It doesn't have to be all the way up for it to sound good." He chuckles "of course it does it's just awful any other way, but I'll live through it for you."

"Why thank you sir I appreciate it" I say with a chuckled. After that it got quiet for a little bit and I got lost in my thought. Somehow Ashton was the only one that could make you happy. Calum and Luke would make you smile every now and then, but Ashton always made you laugh. That's why I called him, because he's my support system. He's the one who makes me feel the best and doesn't try to push me to be something I'm not and never will be. The others loved and still love the old me but I'm different now and Ashton understands that.
