Mehk laughed a bit, seeming slightly distracted as he looked at his robotic arm.

“How’s the shelter coming along?" She asked, sensing something was on his mind.

“Actually... Erm... I was practicing and I kind of burnt mine down..." He replied.

Her jaw dropped, “WHAT WERE YOU EVEN PRACTICING?!"

“Well, you see, I found a new ability on my arm..." He said, gesturing to his machinery.

“What abilty on an ARM just BURNS DOWN a shelter?" Itna put her hand on her hip. As she said this, Mehk’s hand split apart and slid down, revealing a flamethrower. She rolled her eyes, unable to hold back a smile, “Of course. A flamethrower."

“It’s not my fault, blame the scientists," Mehk said, laughing a bit.

“It’s whatever. You can just sleep with me again-" she stopped, covering her mouth, “I didn’t mean for it to sound like that..."

He smirked, “The way you said would be warmer." Mehk winked at Itna, causing her to blush. “It does get pretty cold at night."

“Very true, luckily, I’ve lived out here long enough to adjust to the temperatures. I take it you were cold last night?" She questioned.

He looked away, embarrassed, “A little..."

She smirked, but quickly hid it, “Well, technically speaking, you are my guest. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable..."

"I-I... Uhh... I... d-don’t want to be a bother..." He stuttered nervously.

She looked down, “It’s okay if you don’t want to... I might have a spare blanket or something..."

“No!" He said quickly, “I mean, I wouldn’t want to be rude and refuse," he looked around nervously.

Itna took a deep breath and let it out, running her hand down the length of her hair, “Why do we keep doing this to ourselves? We stutter and stumble and I lo-" She froze, realizing what she was about to say.

Mehk looked at her, confused, “You what?"

        She looked away, “N-nothing..."

        “Tell me," he said persistently

“I think I..." She looked him in the eyes, “I think I love you..."

He smiled as he looked her up and down, “I love you too."
