Since then Tim had left smile and Freddie had taken over, changing the name to Queen and his last name to Mercury. They had released five albums since then, all having hits. So far a song Freddie wrote, Bohemian Rhapsody, was their biggest hit. I had formed a close relationship with all the members, especially Freddie.

1980:

One warm summers day we sat in Freddie kitchen.

"I'm going solo, moving to Munich" Freddie stated, standing in the middle of the room

"You can't do that" Roger said slapping his hand down on the work surface

"I want to. Queen will be back together soon. I promise" Freddie said

Roger moved towards the coffee machine and picked it up.

"NOT THE COFFEE MACHINE" the three yelled just as Roger was about to launch it at Freddie

I snatched it off Roger and placed it back down before he broke it.

"When are you leaving?" I asked

"Tomorrow" Freddie replied crossing his arms

"Tomorrow" we all chorused, eyes wide

"So you decide to tell us now" John said

"Sorry but I had to think over how to tell you" Freddie said

"It's okay" I said

The three turned to look at me.

"I'm friends with Freddie" I admitted

"Fred we won't let you go, you can't" Brian said

"If it wasn't for me you would have just been an astrophysicist that plays a bit of guitar" Freddie said before turning to Roger "You would have just been a dentist that can play a bit of drums" he then turned to Deaky "And you John you would have just been an electrician"

"FREDDIE MERCURY THAT IS BY FAR ENOUGH" Roger shouted

"SHUT UP YOU STUPID BLONDE" Freddie replied

"Fred we would of at least have jobs and live a life" Brian said

"What are you saying May?" Freddie asked

"I'm saying that our lives would have been better then you would have thought if you never came along" Brian replied

Freddie shook his head just as John was about to speak.

"Don't say anything Deacon" Freddie said

"I'm leaving" Deaky said standing up

"Me too" Roger agreed

"Me three" Brian added

The three left the house as Freddie let out a deep sigh.

"Fred if you want to go go. Don't let them stop you" I said

"Thank you darling. I knew I could trust you" Freddie said

It tore me to say that Freddie could go but I knew it was his dream.

August 1975:

I tossed and turned in bed, not being able to get to sleep. I sat up strait in bed and looked at the clock, midnight. I threw the duvet back and clambered out of bed. I quickly changed into a dress as it was still very warm outside before creeping out of my room. I creeped past Brian's room, to not wake him. I pulled on my flip flops before walking down the street to Freddie's house. I found the door open and snuck in and to the living room where Freddie was curled up watching a film.

"What you watching?" I asked leaning against the door frame

"It's a Marx brothers silent film called A Day At The Races" Freddie replied

I walked further into the room until Freddie pulled me down onto the sofa.

"What's bothering my angel?" Freddie asked

"If Queen doesn't work out" I replied "I just can't get any sleep because I've been thinking about it"

"Leave that to us. You just enjoy your life" Freddie said turning the tv off

We sat and looked at each other for a second before Freddie spoke up.

"Come with me" he pulled me up and took me out of the room

He dragged my down the hallway and out the back. He laid down on the grass before ushering me to join him.

"Come on. The stars are beautiful" Freddie said gesturing for me to lay down next to him

I did as he told me and rested my head on his chest while he wrapped an arm about me while holding onto my other hand. We sat looking up at the different star constellations.

"This is where your brother come in useful" Freddie said

"Brian knows all of the star constellations and the names of them" I added

"They are beautiful" Freddie said "And do you know what else Is beautiful?"

"Go on" I said looking up to him

"You" Freddie replied making me blush

I looked up to the stars while processing the next sentence in my head.

"Your an amazing friend Freddie Mercury" I said

"So are you Hope May" Freddie added

I smiled while I felt my eyes close and I softly dropped off to sleep.

When I woke up we were still in the garden in the position we were in when we went to sleep. I slowly sat up rubbing my eyes before turning to Freddie who was still asleep. I clambered up and walked off inside to make us both a coffee and get some breakfast ready. A few minutes later Freddie entered, looking very tired.

"Morning" i said turning to face him

"Morning" he replied as I handed him a coffee
