Chapter 12

After lunch Roger ended up asleep on the sofa with Jade on his stomach.

"Look at them two asleep together" Freddie said, in awe of his two boys

"Their so cutie together" Brian added

"Are you going to do something?" Miami asked turning round in his chair

"Yeah, yeah" Freddie replied

He then walked over to Roger drums to wake Roger up. Freddie grabbed some drum sticks and began drumming a random pattern.

"What's going on?" Roger asked suddenly sitting up

Roger held Jade in his arms as he looked over to Freddie.

"What was the meaning behind this?" Roger asked

"We need to carry on" Freddie replied

Roger placed Jade next to his twin before walking off to take the sticks off of Freddie.

"Never touch my drum sticks again Mercury" Roger said sitting down

He took a quick look over to the babies, Jade of which was trying to reach out to Roger. Roger softly smiled at the two before the track started and the boys began playing. Once they finished Freddie and Roger went outside for a smoking brake, leaving Brian and John with the babies. Brian had Jade in his arms while Dafne sat in Deakys lap.

"I'm so happy for our boy" Brian said

"Freddie's grown up. He's made a family quicker then we have" John added

John then looked down to Dafne before blowing a raspberry on the top of her head. She turned and looked up at him with her mums green eyes.

"Deaky" she muttered, smiling up at him

John turned his gaze to Brian who just smiled at John.

"Did you hear that?" Deaky asked, as shocked at Freddie probably would be

Brian nodded in reply as John set Dafne down before running round the room.

"My niece has said my name" Deaky said "I'm uncle Deaky" he celebrated

"Calm down John" Brian said as Freddie and Roger entered

"What's got him so excited?" Freddie asked

"Dafne said her first word. Which was Deaky" Brian replied

Freddie glared at John which caused them both to stand still. Freddie clutched his hands into fists as John ran from the room. He ran down the corridor, with Freddie at his heels. As they ran out of the studio Hope walked in.

"Hey Hope" John muttered

"Hey love" Freddie said

2 years later 3rd person:

Freddie had fallen ill of aids after telling Hope his little relationship with Paul. The two had become inseparable and today was a day out for them without the kids.

"Stay here until the babysitter comes. And behave" Hope said before she and Freddie left

The two kids walked off into the living room to watch some tv. Then the door opened and closed again.

"Where are the children?" Came the voice of Paul Prenter

The sibling looked at each other before leaving the room.

"Hello Mr Prenter" Dafne said, in her bored and fed up manner

"Cheer up kid. It's Paul Prenter time" Paul said

"We might be young but we don't fall for it" Jade added

The two began to walked towards the kitchen when Paul pushed Dafne.

"Dafs" Jade said, diving for his sister

He cradled her in his arms while glaring at Paul.

"Oh sorry. Did I hurt you" Paul said kneeling down

"Get away from us" Jade barked

He pulled his sister up and began pulling her for the stairs. They ended up in their parents room where there was a phone. Dafne sat on the bed, clutching her wrist while Jade called the first person he could.

"Hello?" Came their uncle Rogers voice

"Uncle Roger, uncle Roger" Jade said, some hope in his voice

"What's is it sweetie?" Roger asked

"Come over quick. Paul's our babysitter" Jade said jumping up and down

"I'm on my way" Roger said before hanging the phone up
Jade ran back over to his sister and the two sat patiently. Seconds later the front door slammed shut.
"PRENTER" Roger shouted
Jade jumped up and ran from the room. He stood at the top of the stairs and shouted.
"Uncle Roger"
Roger looked up to Jade before setting off running. Roger reached the top of the stairs and hugged Jade close.
"Come on uncle Roger" Jade said pulling Roger towards the bedroom
In the took Dafne was in tears and clutching her painful wrist.
"Shhh, I'm here. Uncle Rogers here" Roger said
bending down and hugging Dafne "Jade can you call you parents" Roger turned to Jade
The little boy ran over to the phone to call he parents. Roger began stroking Dafnes hair in comfort. Once Jade got off the phone he walked back over.
"Their going to meet us at the hospital" Jade said
Roger picked up Dafne, causing her to wince at the slight movement of her wrist. Roger got her into the back of the car with Jade.

1st person:

Me and Freddie watched Roger car pull up as the two of us set off running to help our little girl. We got her into the hospital and she went off for an x-ray. Only one person could go with her so that was Freddie's job. It turned out that she had just lightly fractured it but still had to have it in a cast. On the way back Jade tried to entertain Dafne while me and Freddie talked.

"Did you know about Paul?" I asked

"No" Freddie replied shaking his head "But we need to do something"

"We're supposed to pay him though" I said keeping my gaze on Freddie

"But we won't pay him. He injured one of the most precious things" Freddie said gesturing to Dafne

I looked back to the road.

"Why did you ever have a relationship with him?" I asked

"It wasn't a relationship. It was a fling and I have no idea why. Back then I trusted him" Freddie replied

"A fling" I scoffed while looking down

"Hey if you want to be my wife then shut up" Freddie said

I looked up to find him trying his hardest not to laugh.

"Yeah right" I said as Freddie pulled into the drive

We helped the kids out of the back before walking off inside. Paul had gone so we sat down to watch a film as a family. Halfway through Jade had fallen asleep and Dafne was close to it. Once they had both dropped off we put them to bed before relaxing as a couple.

"Freddie even with aids I still love you" I said rubbing his knee as I rested my head on his chest

Freddie kissed the top of my head.

"And i love you" Freddie said

I looked back to the tv before soon falling asleep.
