5 months later Rogers POV:

I sat at home with Dominique.

"Don't worry about her. She will wake up" Dom said rubbing my knee

I never stopped worrying about Hope and looking after the kids made it worse.

"I might go and let Brian rest while I watch over Hope" I said before standing up and pulling my shoes on

"Don't get too emotional. And if anything dramatic changes call me" Dom said

I nodded before leaving. I walked it there, carrying a vinyl of Freddie's solo album. When I arrived at the hospital I relived Brian from the bedside and put on Freddie Mercury Never Boring. I sat down beside Hope and began to watch her in her coma. All of a sudden a song came on i didn't know. I walked over to the record player in the corner of the room and looked at what it was. All of a sudden I heard a voice singing along, it was a female voice which was very familiar.

My POV:

I could hear music, at first I didn't know what it was but then I realised. It was Freddie's song love kills. I slowly opened my eyes to see Roger stood in the corner holding the record. I opened my mouth and surprisingly I could sing still. I sang along to the song and that's when Roger turned round. A smile approached his face as he came running over.

"Your alive. Your awake" Roger said, kissing all over my face

"How long have I been out for?" I asked pushing Roger away from me

"Five long hard months" Roger replied, my mouth dropped open but Roger used his finger to shut it "Brian barely left your side. I told him to leave just now for some rest. He looked pretty dead" I managed a smile as I looked at him

"And the concert" I urged

"We postponed it" Roger replied beginning to stroke my hair

"Can you turn the music off. I still can't listen to the voice of my deceased husband" I said

Roger nodded before walking off to the record player and turning the music off. Just then Brin and John entered.

"Hope" Brian almost shouted but trying his best not to

"Hey Bri" I muttered as he walked over
After some tests I was free to go home. When I arrived my little ones came running over to me excited followed by their uncle Bowie.

"Hey kids" I said picking Jade up in one arm and Dafne in the other

I kissed David on the cheek before heading into the living room.

"Hope you get some rest. I'll call you when dinners ready" David said

"Thanks" I replied

I then turned back to the kids.

"As much as I would love to spend time with you I'm still not fully better so I'm going to take a nap" I said to them

"Okay" they chorused seeming upset

I left them with their uncle before heading upstairs. I walked into the bedroom and before getting into bed I found a folder of all of Freddie's old songs he never finished. A note on the top read:

Dear Hope i found this at my house and thought it would be useful to you. In memory of your husband and because i thought you might be able to do something with it.
Kind regards Roger Taylor

I opened it and pulled things out of the inside. I found one called 'perfect' that was dated back to 1976. I began to read the lyrics.

Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was
I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own
And in your eyes, you're holding mine
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song
When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight
Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home
I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own
We are still kids, but we're so in love
Fighting against all odds
I know we'll be alright this time
Darling, just hold my hand
Be my girl, I'll be your man
I see my future in your eyes

A tear fell down my cheek which I soon wiped away.

"Hope?" Came David's voice from the door

I looked up to him before walking over.

"Can you give that to Brian, and ask him to finish the song. And tell him I would like him to record it" I said

David nodded before leaving the room. I put the folder to the side before shutting the door and getting into bed. I laid awake thinking of Freddie. I still wasn't used to the bed being empty at night and waking up alone. I grabbed the famous yellow jacket and wrapped it around me as I slept, sleeping peacefully.
