An hour later we had finally finished getting ready for the party. I had managed to convince Luna to let me do her makeup which was a task in itself. Her skin is already flawless and her eyes already stand out from the rest of her face. I only put on a little bit of eyeshadow and mascara to bring more attention to her beautiful blue eyes.
She told me that she was going with Neville Longbottom. I had heard his name but I couldn't remembered what he looked like. She told me that he was a Gryffindor like Harry which gave me something to go off. She said that them two have been studying together for a year now and he finally asked her out on Wednesday.
Luna was now wearing a navy blue floaty dress. She had also pinned two pieces of her long blonde hair to the back of her head so her hair didn't get in her eyes.
I had put on a bit more makeup on than I normally would have. I had decided that I would apply some eyeliner to my eyes and put on a dark red lipstick. I wanted to make Malfoy weak when he saw me. The dress looked amazing with his jacket thrown over the top of it. It was big enough that two of me and fit inside it but it meant that the sleeves are long enough to cover my hands. Luckily Luna didn't notice the words on my arm when we was changing.
We walk to the Great Hall where Luna is meeting Neville. She seems so nervous but she was defiantly excited.
Neville was a tall boy with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a checked blue shirt with a green sweater vest over the top. He looked even taller when Luna stood next to him.
"I'll see you at the party, Ivy." Luna says waving me goodbye.
"See you there." I reply and walk away. I turn back around to the and look Neville in the eye "You better look after her."
"Don't worry I will." He says with a grin and then glancing down at Luna. They looked so cute together.
I walk across the courtyard and realise that I have no idea where I was going. The courtyard is peaceful when there isn't people running across it. The grass is almost spongy underneath my feet and the moon shines right above the opening.
"Snape." I hear from behind me. I turn and it's Ron. I walk over to him and his with Hermione too. "You going where I think your going?" He asks as I approach.
"She's obviously going where we're going Ronald." Hermione interrupts. "Are you lost?" She asks with a kind voice.
"A little yeah. Do you mind if I tag along until we get to the pitch?" I ask.
"Of cause you can." Hermione says with a smile. "We were just about to meet Harry."
"Oh. I actually need to talk to him about something." I say as I remember that he had a dream about me.
"Not about that stupid dream is it?" Ron asks rolling his eyes.
God has he told everyone about this bloody dream. "Yeah." I sigh.
"Are you wanting to tag along with us at the party?" Hermione says trying to change the subject.
"Oh I'm actually meeting someone. I can join you later on though."
We walk out onto a large patch of grass at the back of the castle. The moon shines over the castle and the little windows leak with candle light creating little shadows on the ground. I look over to the far side of the field and see what looks to be towers coming out of the ground. Each of the towers had the house crests on the side of them.
"The pitch is just over there." Ron says with a grin. "We'll catch you later."
"We're meeting Harry by the forest. I'll tell him to come and find you later." Hermione says before walking away.
