I don't watch the rest of the game. I sit there in silence twiddling with a strand of my hair. All the noise around me stops as I go into my own head.

Is Malfoy putting on a front or is he just a self absorbed prick? Maybe Parkinson did spike his drink last night? Did I push him away?

"Malfoy's caught the snitch. Slytherin wins!" A voice shouts through the microphone, breaking my thought tangent.

I look over at the pitch and the Slytherin team are all in the centre of the pitch cheering. Blaise puts his arm around Malfoy as they cheer for the victory of their house. In Malfoy's hand, the golden ball. He lifts it up on the air which makes the Slytherin tower go crazy.

He looks happy, genuinely happy. His face is bright and his smile is contagious.

I stand up from the bench and cheer with the rest of the Slytherins.

His eyes meet mine again actress then pitch. He winks at me and then turns his gaze over to Blaise who is ecstatic by this point.

My uncle is clapping next to me but his face doesn't show any kind of happiness. It's straight and as blunt as always.

I grab my bag and walk up the aisle to the stairs. My Uncle has vanished at this point. Where does he go when he poofs out of no where?

"I trust you received the letter." Lucius says following me up the stairs.

"I did." I reply turning to face him.

"So you will be joining us this weekend?" He asks me with a straight face.

"I believe I don't have a choice. Do I?" I say sarcastically to him.

"No you don't."

"May I ask you something?" I ask him as we walk down the stairs of the tower.

"You may."

"Why the name Avery?" I've been wondering about that all afternoon. He knew who I was. He didn't need to lie in front of my uncle.

"It's your family name is it not?" He says with squinted eyes.

"Yes, but I was born Snape." I snap at him.

"Listen girl. A family name is more important in this world. Especially when your pure-"

"-Yeah. Yeah a pureblood. I know." I interrupt him.

"Draco was right. You do have a wicked tongue." He says as a slight smile breaks his stone cold expression.

I follow Lucius to the edge of the pitch behind the tower. Neither of us speak until Draco walks over to us.

"Well played Draco." Lucius says to Draco with the stone cold expression back on his face.

"Thank you, father." Draco replies back to him with a smile.

He doesn't look at me. He acts like I'm not even there.

"Is mother home?" He asks Lucius as we walk across the back of the pitch.

"I'm not too sure." Lucius says as we make our way down the gravel path.

I follow along behind them as they talk. I try not to listen in as I wouldn't like somebody ease-dropping on my conversations.

We reach the front of the castle where there is a black car waiting at the bottom of the path. The car looked old. It was a Ford car which looked to be older than Dumbledore. The bonnet of the car was long and pointed at the front like Lucius' nose. The car is exactly what I picture when I think of him driving.

Lucius climbs into the front seat and Malfoy climbs into the back with me. The seats are a deep purple colour with red ribbon around the edges.

I put my bag in between me and Draco so that we aren't close to each other. If I was going to spend an entire car journey to Wiltshire I better get comfortable.

Lucius starts the car and it makes a noise like it was about to explode. The shrieking sounds makes me cringe as the car slowly rolls across the gravel.

The car suddenly lifts up from the grounds and flies. A fucking flying Ford! That's something you don't see everyday. I look out of the window and see the castle getting smaller and smaller as the car rises. The castle looks so beautiful in the daylight.

I sit back and wonder how long it would take to get to the Manor. The thought of sitting in this car in complete silence is dismal.

"Congrats on the game." I say breaking the silence as we fly over some woodland.

Draco sits with a straight face. "Thanks." He replies with a slight smile. "How are you?"

"I'm fine." I say back to him as I press my lips together awkwardly. I look past the front seat to see if Lucius is listening to us. He seems completely zoned out.

"His not listening." Draco says reaching between the front top seats. His hands presses against something that I couldn't see. He knocks against the invisible wall and it sounds like glass. "I want to apologise. I didn't mean to speak like that to you. You didn't deserve it."

I ponder over whether I should make him earn his forgiveness. But he seems to be authentically apologetic. The thought of spending the whole weekend with his family and acting like I hate him would be unfair. Especially when he had spoken to his parents about me.

"I forgive you." I say softly. "But we can't do this anymore."

"Do what?"

"Do whatever twisted game that we are playing. It's making my head spin." I say turning my body to him.

The look of remorse fulls his face again as I speak. He also turns his body to face me too. He glances over to the front seat to see if his father is looking in the back seat. He isn't. Draco holds out his hand and takes mine. "If I could take back my actions I would."

We look each other in the eyes again like we did at the game. I wanted him so badly but I knew he was bad for me. He isn't good for me. I need to protect myself in this battle of two. I wish I could know what he is thinking. If he felt the same way? If he was drowning with me?

I take a deep breath and sigh. If we had never gone to that stupid party none of this would have happened. Maybe if we had just gone slow with our relationship then maybe he wouldn't have said those words to me. But yet again, Draco doesn't do slow. He doesn't do normal.

"Can we start over?" He pleads.

I want to say yes, but could he truly start a fresh with me. Just me and him. "But would you be able too?" I ask.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean would you be able to start over. Just me and you. No games. No Parkinson. No arguments."

"I would for you." He says. "Anything to have you back."
