That girl has some nerve saying that to me. Who the hell does she think she is! I need to learn to respect my superiors! I'm guessing she's a pureblood judging on her fucked ideals of respect. I wish I saw Malfoy's face as the muffin hit rude rat like face. The blue really brought out the green in her eyes.
I turn onto the Slytherin corridor and my Uncle Severus is stood outside the doors. "What the hell are you doing?" he shouts at me. "Why did you throw food at Parkinson?" he questioned as I walk up to the door trying to pass him.
"Why do you think I threw it at her? She was being rude to me." I snap back at him trying to go around him to get into the Common Room.
He grabs me by my robe and drags me so that I am facing him. "I know that you have being raised to stand up for yourself, but in the wizard world you have to blend in. Try not to draw so much attention to yourself." he says while finally releasing my robe allowing me to get into the Common Room.
He was always stern with me. I think that is just his way. He was a man of few words my Uncle Severus. When I was growing up he would always come to every family event but he never really paid much attention to everyone else other than me. He would always tell me stories about a magical world. I honestly thought they were all made up until my powers started to show through.
The last time I saw him was my fourteenth birthday where he has bought me a wand. I thought he had forgotten how old I was and that he still saw me as a child. My parents were furious for a reason I didn't understand at the time. My father kicked him out of the house while my mother tried to prise it out of my hand. I think that is when I figured out I was not like everyone else.
Once I get to my dorm I decide to go take a shower as it had been a long day and I probably didn't smell so good. I grab the small bag of toiletries from my trunk and walk into the small bathroom. The room is small but big enough to move in.
I put the toilet seat down and sit on it so I can undress. I pull off the green tie which had been ribbing against my slowing bruising neck and throw it on the floor. I stand up and look in the mirror to see how bad it looked. The skin around my neck was red and purple where the imprint of his large hands linger. I look at myself and I can feel myself starting to cry. My tears start to run down my cheeks and leave a black trail all the way to my chin. I forgot my eyeliner wasn't waterproof. I pull out a cloth and wipe my face with it. I hear the door of the dorm open as I do this.
"What a show." I hear through the bathroom door. It was Malfoy.
"Oh just get lost, Malfoy." I crock trying to stop myself crying. I open the door to find him sitting on his bed unbuttoning his shirt.
"The boys seem to like you" he muffles with his back facing me. "a true Slytherin" he says while glancing back at me. His shirt was open so his chest was exposed. His skin was cold even in the candle light.
"Is that supposed to be a compliment?" I question while rolling my eyes at him.
He stands up and walks closer to me. "Are you okay?" he asks. The candle light creates a shadow on the right side of his face. "Why are you crying?" he questions he gets close enough to see the grey trails on my face.
"Why don't you ask your stupid girlfriend?" I grunt while wiping my face with my arm.
He starts to laugh. "You know she's not actually my girlfriend right. I just made it up to see your reaction."
Hoping my real emotions didn't shine through, my internal reaction was slight jealousy. Parkinson seemed to be the perfect girl, the ashy hair, the model figure and the green eyes. But her personality was brutal. She was everything I despised in girls, and the worst thing was that I was jealous of her for a second. Jealous of her!
"Then why did you talk about me to her then? She clearly couldn't just pull that insult out of her head without knowing at least one thing about me."
"I was talking to Crabbe and Blaise! She is just nosey and listened in on my private conversation. Besides, you only got mentioned because they only wanted to know where I went when I got off the train." he explained to me while trying to dodge a piece of glass that remained on the floor from earlier.
"I'm sorry. It's just been a really hard day." I say softly looking up at him.
"It's okay, Princess" he says smirking down at me.
"That's my line." I say walking past him so I could get to my bedside table. I pull out a soft pink satin cami and walk back into the bathroom.
