Everything's Changed. (Akaashi X Reader)

It's been a week since the night of the party. You haven't talked to Akaashi yet as you were scared.
So you played it cool when he'd tag along with you and Bokuto.

It was a friday afternoon and You were just packing up when you heard your best friend at your door.
"Y/N!!!!" He knocked.

You opened the door to see him smiling, but then his smile fades as he sees your packed bags.

"Where you going?"

"I'm visiting home for the weekend."

"Oh?" He walked into your room.
"Awe I was gonna ask if you wanted to hang out today..."

You smiled. "Wanna come with me then? That's if you don't have any plans.."

He smiled. "Okay! Give me one sec!" He than ran out the door and down the hall.

You laughed as you heard every footstep going down to his dorm.

Once you were done packing you waited outside your room with your bags.
You smiled as you saw Bokuto practically skipping down the hall.
Behind him was Akaashi?

"Oi! Y/n I hope you don't mind if Akaashi joins us!" He winked at you.

Bokuto has been trying his best to get yiu two more closer this past week.
It was starting to annoy you but you knew he meant it from the heart.

"Its okay, my foster mom has lots of rooms since she fosters many children at once..."

"Foster mom?" Bokuto asked. Tilting his head a bit.

You smiled.

"Right.. I guess I didn't really tell you did I? Well..ill explain on the way, shall we?"
You went to reach for your bag but Akaashi grabbed it and threw it around his shoulder.

Your cheeks flushed at his actions but didn't say anything as you turned towards the elevator.

When you finally got into the car, Bokuto pushed Akaashi to get into the front seat as he took the middle of the back.

"Is it okay if I put my tank by your feet?" You asked Akaashi.

He nodded with a small smile that was barely noticeable.

You started up the car and started to drive out of the university's parking lot.

"So us about your foster mom!"  Bokuto gleamed.

You sighed. "Well Akaashi kinda knows most of it but I'll start from the beginning." You took in a breath and smiled. "Ive been in foster care since I was born, my parents had put me up for adoption for whatever reasons, and I've been jumping back and forth from different group homes. That was until my foster mother, Hana, she took me in six years ago, she wanted me to have a full middle and highschool experience, no moving nothing. Just being grounded in one place for once. "
You paused.
"Being there she had taken in three other children, the twins, Kane and Ena. And the second oldest. Yakeru. He's in his second year of highschool, he's going to Karasuno like I did actually."

"Wow..I'm sorry y/n..." Bokuto started to say.

You shook your head. "Don't be sorry Bo, I've never been more happy then with them. I'm actually surprising them with this visit!"

"Oh are you sure it's okay if we tag along..."Akaashi shifted in his seat.

You nodded."My mom will be happy to see that I actually made friends...oh and um sorry in advance but Yakeru plays volleyball and he's heard about you guys, be prepared for him asking you to play."

"WHAT POSITION DOES HE PLAY!!!"

"Left wing spiker-"

"JUST LIKE I WAS!!!"

You chuckled. "Yes Bokuto-San"

"How old are the twins?" Akaashi asked.

You turned to him with a smile before looking back at the road. "Eight."

The rest of the ride was nice, it consisted of Bokuto reaching for the volume button the radio and singing to almost every song that played.
It made you smile.

When you arrived you were happy to see your mother's car in the drive way.
Before you could even get out the car fully you had the twins running out to you.

You immediately set down your tank and grabbed Kane and pulled him up into a hug and letting his rest on your hip.

"I missed you big sis!" He smiled.

You felt a tug at on your shirt as you see Ena looking towards Bokuto and Akaashi.

You set Kane down and kneeled down to Ena.

"Ena, Kane, meet Bokuto and Akaashi, their my friends." You smiled.

"Pfft you have friends?"

You stood up and smiled to your brother.
"Hello to you too Yakeru."

Bokuto turned immediately to him.
"HI! I'm Bokuto! I heard you play volleyball!" He reached his hand out.

Yakeru shook it nervously. Peering at your through the corner of his eyes.

"Big sis? What's that thing in your nose?"  Ena asked.

You smiled."Its to help me breath better."

Your little sister smiled. "Oh okay!!!"

"You didn't say you were coming!" You hear your mom say as she walked towards you.

You pulled her into a hug.
"Surprise."

She pulled away. "Surprise indeed, and who are these strapping young men?" She smiled as she turned to them.

"That's Bokuto and Akaashi, they're my friends."

She turned to you and smiled. "Well, I'm glad you brought them with you today, will you be staying the night?"

"Yeah if that's okay.."

"Of course! There's two rooms where the boys can stay! Also are you hungry? I can make some ramen for everyone." She gleamed.

"YAY RAMAN!" Ena chimed, throwing her fits in the air.

You laughed at her innocence.

"Well, let's go inside yeah? Y/n show them the two spare rooms okay?"

"Okay." You smiled, then motioned the boys to follow.
Akaashi yet again took your bags for you.
You blushed but gave him a smile.

Yakeru saw and raised an eyebrow.

Once inside you first took Akaashi to your old room, since it was on the first floor and you needed him to set your stuff down.

Next you took them upstairs and showed them the rooms their staying in, taking your time up the stairs of course.
Akaashi watched you as you slowly took the stairs. You saw him watching with a concerned look on his face.

"At least there's not as much as at school right?" You joked, trying to lift the mood a bit.

A small smile crept in his face.

Once you got up the stairs you took a minute and then showed the boys where they're sleeping.

"Ramans ready!" You heard your mom yell.

You smiled to the boys.
Then looked down at the stairs. Regretting that you just climbed, only to have to go back down them again.

Bokuto went down first, and turning the corner quite fast.

You were about to step down the first steps when Akaashi lifted you into his arms, and held you bridal style.

Your face turned bright red. "Akaashi!"

He smiled as he walked down the steps, ignoring your glare.

He set you down gently as you turned your face away in embarrassment.

Akaashi laughed and then walked towards the kitchen where the voices were coming from.

Damn you Akaashi!
