Fluttering her eyes open, Lucy managed to sit herself up in bed.

"Mmng...what time is it?"

She yawned then scratched her head, before leaning over her bed for her phone on her nightstand.

Picking it up, she flopped back onto her bed. She switched on her phone to look at the time, and squinted as she witnessed the brightness.

"What's up with all these missed calls?" Lucy grew confused until she began scrolling through her messages.

She was a bit decisive on which messages to read first. Eventually, she went for Natsu's.

- My dear, are you alright?
- I was walking by today and noticed that you weren't in your office.
- Is everything okay?
- Dear?
- Please pick up my calls, you're making me anxious.
- When you receive this message, please make sure to call me.

The corners of Lucy's eyes crinkled as she looked at his last message. A light giggle came out of her mouth. She knew that emoticon didn't suit him, but she somehow found it cute. If he used it as a means to express how he really felt about her, he was successful in doing so.

However, the fact of the matter was:
He was worried about her.

For some odd reason, it made Lucy feel all warm and tingly inside. Not that she didn't already, but it was a different kind of feeling. A new feeling she had never experienced before. And she liked it. A lot.

Tomorrow was the day that Natsu had scheduled to take her dress fitting. To be completely frank, Lucy was quite nervous. She had heard the CEO relentlessly and consistently tell her about marriage, but she never took his words to heart. It was all a joke to her at first.

However, she finally came to her senses when Natsu took care of her when she was sick. He stayed by her side from beginning to end. He helped her wash up and accepted her ugly flaws. The way he listened respectfully to her worries and fears and always seemed to be there for her with open arms. He really was a good gentleman. In fact, maybe a bit to good for her. That's when pang of self-doubt suddenly hit her.

Was she really good enough for Natsu?

She knew that there were a substantial number of important people in higher positions who had been waiting in line for Natsu's hand in marriage. More suitable people, people with something to offer. But...Lucy didn't have anything. If it's money we're talking about, she was wealthy, but could not even compare to the CEO's economic wealth. After all, he was the Number 1 CEO, which meant he was very rich. But how did she manage to get him within a few days of crossing paths with him?

Clutching her phone tightly, Lucy decided to call Natsu. As she scrolled through her contacts, she found his name.

"All you have to do is click the call button." She repeated this continuously to herself.

Ten minutes had passed and Lucy was still stuck staring at the call icon. She wondered why it was so hard to dial him. It's not like she'd never done it before.
