Elio concentrated and let Z-Energy flow from his bracelet as he did the ghostly dance. The energy sped through space and into Lunala.
Elio completed the move and turned around to see multiple glowing white balls of light surrounding Lunala's wings. Elio kicked his legs and propelled himself out of harm's way.
Necrozma glared at Lunala and roared. Portals began to open up all around them and Elio looked down at Ralph.
Ralph began to wave his wrist around and send Z-Energy into Cosmo. The Cosmoem took the energy and released a massive shockwave through the area.
As it passed over portals, the wormholes closed up one by one. The wave seemed to stop from closing all of the portals but there was no time for Elio to worry about that.
Lunala unleashed all of its beams at once and they rocketed into Necrozma. The beams all combined into one blast and Necrozma was pushed back into the prism.
Excess light poured into the prism which began to shimmer and fire the light right back out into Necrozma, pinning it between two powerful rays of Lunala's light.
The light was so plentiful that it became blinding and Elio was forced to look away and shield his eyes.
As it died down he looked back at the prism and saw Solgaleo and Necrozma drifting near each other, finally separated.
Lunala swooped over to Elio and he grabbed onto its back. "Great job Lunala! You did it!" Elio congratulated as they flew back to the others.
They boarded Lunala and everyone approached the two unconscious Ultra Beasts. "It's finally over," Phyco said with a sigh.
Selene leaped off of Lunala and drifted over to her Solgaleo. "NEBBY!" She screamed with tears lining her eyes.
Selene embraced the steel lion and its eyes opened up. "I'm so happy you're alright! I was so worried!" She said as she hurried her face in its fur. Nebby began to purr and gently nuzzled Selene's shoulder with its head.
Zossie approached Solgaleo and began to feel its fur in her gloved hands. "Wow! I bet it's really soft!"
Elio focused on Necrozma. The Ultra Beast seemed to still be knocked out so Elio took the chance to look it over. The Pokémon had black prism skin that reflected no light and seemed to almost suck light in.
The slightly reflective material Necrozma was made of compelled Elio to keep staring as if it was a void of pure blackness.
"So Ralph, what's the plan from here?" Elio asked the Ultra Traveler.
Ralph came up next to him. "We use the Z-Energy from our crystals and the Lunalium Z to replenish Necrozma's light and let it eradicate the Shadows."
"And it won't attack us again?" Phyco confirmed.
Ralph shrugged. "It should recognize the prism needs light and fix it. Otherwise, we'll have to improvise."
"Let me talk to it first." Selene broke in.
Elio looked back at her to see she had recomposed herself. "Be our guest." He said.
Selene smiled and swam through the low gravity space until she was right in front of Necrozma. She reached out a hand to touch it and its eyes snapped open.
Necrozma tried to move but winced and stopped. "Hold still. I just want to help you." Selene spoke in a calm tone. Elio's girlfriend took out a potion from her bag and began to gently spray Necrozma.
It allowed itself to have its wounds treated and waited for Selene to finish. "I know you're hurting a lot, both on the inside and the outside. I want to help you." Selene told it.
