After her brush with the Light side that had nearly led to her execution and had definitely led to her mistrusting Kylo Ren, Amelia made sure it would not happen again by taking her duties and her powers even more seriously, racking up a reputation to be just as, if not more, terrifying than her master.

She had not made much proper conversation with him since her encounter in the corridor with Hux other than in her training sessions - which focussed more on her connection with the Force while she recovered - following commands and orders from under the cover of the mask he had taken to again. If she would not trust him enough to even talk to him then he would not do her the honour of proving his humanity, and to a further extent how he trusted her to see and know him. It was petty but it made sense in his head.

The ends of sessions were indicated by a single command and her swiftly leaving, however, this was not one of these occasions as he kept her behind further to inform her of the request of her presence on the bridge by Hux whom she had recently started making more and more friendly and casual conversation with.

"Yes, master," she muttered with one nod, turning to leave but was stopped in her tracks by her name being called. "Yes?"

"You are doing well," he admitted. "Better every day. I am sure Snoke will be looking to promote you soon enough."

"...Thank you..."

She swiftly left to get changed and saw the General in the hallway after she had done so, calling out to him so she could walk alongside, giving him the smallest of smiles, his pace slowing so she could keep up.

"Amelia, on your way to the bridge, I suppose."

"Apparently you asked for me."

"I did, yes. We have an appropriate target for the next test of the base."

"Oh, excellent. I'm glad I can be a part of that."

"So am I. I thought you'd find it interesting...How was training?"

"Fine considering everything...Not as action-packed as it used to be but just fine."

"Well, I'm sure your connection with the Force is just as important and stimulating. I was actually going to ask you something, not that you must be obligated to agree, of course."

"What's that?"

"Well, I was going to invite you to the officer's ball next week, you know, celebrating promotions, presenting new ranks, etc. I know you may not know many people, and of course, your master would also attend and I understand your current position in regards to him but it might be an exciting opportunity for you."

"Really? You're inviting me?"

"Absolutely, if you'd like to go. And you've no reason to stay long or anything but the offer is there. I would like to see you there," He stopped for a moment and looked at her, letting slip a small smile. "I think I would enjoy your company."

"Well, isn't that a change of opinion," She laughed a little and he nodded. "But I would like to go. I'm sure it'll be fun."

"Then I shall look forward to seeing you there."

She smiled, for the first in some time as they walked onto the bridge, the officers all looking up at the two of them nervously. The skirt of her dress brushed the floor as her smile faded in the presence of them all, her hair dark, glistening in the low blue light, spiralling down to her ribcage. This dark image, and the presence of their General, was enough to quieten some chatter, let alone when they stood alongside her master to discuss: a trinity of power, making everyone just the slightest bit nervous of what any one of them could do.
