Reminder: Xiao Zhan knows he has demonic cultivation powers, has a new Golden Core. A lot more powerful than the other cultivators (except Lan Zhan), and it's called; Resentment Core. And he didn't lose ChenQing, also, the Stygian Tiger Amulet is with him. But in the form of SuiBian.

The thought of dinner made Zhan's  stomach rumble. The scent of barbeque from the dining hall made his mouth water. The bakery down the street smelled pretty wonderful too, but he doubted Reyna would let them go get an order to go.
The crowds dispersed reluctantly. Some muttered comments about Percy's and Zhan's chances.

"They're dead." Said one.

"Would be those two that found him," Said another.

"Yeah," Muttered another. "Let him join the Fifth Cohort. Greeks and geeks."

Several kids laughed at that, that it made Zhan's blood boiled, but Reyna scoweld at them and they cleared off.

"Hazel," Reyna said. "Come with us. I want your report on what happened on the gates."

"Me too?" Frank said. "Percy and Xiao Zhan saved my life. We've got to let them---"

Reyna gave Frank such a harsh look, he stepped back.

"I remind you, Frank Zhang," She said. "You are on probatio yourself. You have caused enough trouble this week."
Frank's ears turned red. He fiddled with a little tablet on a cordarpund his neck. Zhan hadn't paid much attention to it, but it looked like a name tag made out of lead.

"Go to the armory," Reyna told him. "Check our inventory. ILL CALL YOU If I need to."

"But----" Franks caught himself. "Yes, Reyna."

He hurried out.

Reyna waved to Hazel, Percy, and Zhan toward the the headquarters. "Now, let's see if we can kmprove both of your memories."

The principia even more impressive inside.

On the ceiling glittered a mosaic of Romulus and Remus under their adopted mama she-wolf (Lupa told them that story a million times). The floor was polished marble. The walls were draped in velvet, so Zhan felt like he was inside the world's most expensive camping tent. Along the back wall stood a display of banners and wooden poles studded with bronze medals---military symbols, Zhan guessed. In the center was one empty display stand, as if the main banner had been taken down for cleaning or something.
In the back corner, a stairwell led down. It was blocked by a row of iron bars like a prison door. Zhan wondered what was down there---monsters? Treasure? Amnesiac Demigod's and cultivator who had gotten on Reyna's bad side?
In the center of the room, a long wooden table as cluttered with scrolls, notebooks, tablet computers, daggers, and a large bowl filled with jelly beans, which seemed kind of out of place. Two life-sized statues of greyhounds---one silver, and one gold---flanked on the table, making him tremble. Dogs scare him to death, although he didn't know why.
Reyna walked behind the table and satin one of the high-back chairs. Zhan wished he could sit in the other, but Hazel remained standing. Zhan got the feeling he was supposed to also.

"So..." He started to say.
The dog statues bared their and growled. Zhan accidentally unleashed an overwhelming amount of resentful energy, making the Demigod's cough. Percy hugged him, telling him everything is fine, and that no one is here to hurt him.
He gradually calmed down, and every bit of resentment went out like a puff of smoke

"I'm sorry, Preator. I'm scared of dogs, it's sets an alarm to my power." Zhan apologized. Reyna looked at him with curiosity.

She waved her hand. "Its fine, Argentum, Aurum, go outside and play." They went outside, Zhan inwardly sighed in relief.

Reyna set her dagger on the table. Her hair was black and glossy, as volcanic rock, woven I  a single braid down her back. She had the poised of a sword fighter---relaxed yet vigilant, as if ready to spring into any action at any moment. The worry lines around her eyes made her look older than she probably was.

"We have met," Percy decided. "I don't remember when. Please, if you can tell me anything---"

"First things first," Reyna said. "I want to hear your story, then his story. What do you remembe? How did you get here? And don't lie."

Percy told his story---how her woken up at the ruined mansion in the woods of Sonoma. He described his time with Lupa and her pack, learning heir language of gestures and expressions, learning how to survive and fight. Lupa had taught him about demigods, monsters, gods, and cultivators. Shed explained that she was one of the guardian spirits of Ancient Rome. Demigods like Percy were still responsible for carrying on Roman traditions in modern times---fighting monsters, serving gods, protecting mortals, and upholding the memory of the Empire. Shed spent weeks training them, until they were strong and vicious as a wolf. When she was satisfied with their skills, she's sent them south, telling hem that if they survived the journey, they might find a new home and regain their memory.

None of it seemed to surprise Reyna. In fact, she seemed to find it pretty ordinary---except for two things.

"No memory, and a cultivator travels with a demigod?" She asked. "Both of you still remeber nothing?"

"I get fuzzy not a and pieces of my memory, but, uh," Percy looked at Zhan, as if to say please don't get killed.

Zhan laughed in his head. "I know you don't trust me, Praetor. As for my memories, and what I remeber," He looked at Reyna, and gave her a smile. "I only remember a person named Hanguang Jun, and these."
Zhan showed his flute, ChenQing,  and his sword, SuiBian.
ChenQing is bamboo flute, but with intricate details carved on it, and a red tassel hung by the end of it. SuiBian had demonic energy trapped inside it (though he didn't know why), and it's name carved onto it with he color of gold.

Reyna looked at him with her obsidian eyes. "What's your name, and how did you meet him?" As if saying Percy's name was like a curse for her, Zhan didn't know why she didn't like him. Possibly rivalry? Who knows?

"Well, my story is he same us Percy's but learning the whole," He made a gesture with his fingers. "Roman thing. She didn't teach me much about it, except that you never anger a god, and avoid gods."

"I can understand the whole agenda, but how did you meet Percy?"

"I meet him when we arrived at the Wolf House. He was kinda confused and mystified, as if he wasn't------" He stopped. Zhan felt something...foul, sinister and evil. He jerked his head to the darkness, only to see nothing but shadows. Odd, he could have sworn he felt something foul.

A hand clasped his shoulder. "Hey, Zhan. You alright?"

Zhan sometimes acted like this, being all alert and mysterious. It made Percy scared. "I sensed resentment earlier, but I guess it's gone." He whispered.

It's been a few days, or maybe longer. Forgive me, but I've really been busy getting caught up in my assignments, plus trying to figure it what to write in my other stories as well.
