Kiara
"I'm craving you so bad."

KIARA OPENED her eyes as she felt hands on her stomach, tightening at her waist and pulling her closer. She crashes on a chest, the familiar smell of roses greeting her as she feels someone nuzzle into her neck.
She giggles as the warm breath tickles her neck, the hands making patterns on her exposed tummy. Butterflies flutter in her stomach at the touch, a smile forming on her face.
She opens her eyes - her sleep long gone now and her body more relaxed than ever.
She remembers falling asleep in Zain's arms in the jacuzzi after consuming the entire bottle of champagne with him and enjoying his presence beside her. Zain must have carried her to the bed. She turns to face him, his dark brown eyes soften with admiration. She kisses him on the lips, her heart beating wildly in her chest.
Her hands find his back, making patterns on it as they continue to move their lips in perfect harmony against each other. She pushes him down, climbing on top of him and kissing him with everything. She feels his hands grabbing her hair and then pushing her head closer to him as if he was scared that she would break away from his. His kisses are passionate and delicate like he wants to kiss her with care. She runs her hand through his hair, earning a much-loved groan from him.
Eventually, she reluctantly pulls away from him for she remembers one of the many reasons they were here. The huge step she was going to take. She gets up- very much aware that she has to put on some clothes.
She finds her navy blue nightgown in the hotel's closet to cover her very naked body, much to Zain's dismay as he makes his disapproval very evident by the frown that appears on his face.
She grabs something from the closet, realizing that it was the best way to do so.
"Zain, wear your boxers. I need to ask you something," she tells him.
Zain gets up in an instant and she could feel his sudden mood change. He looks more serious now - did she scare him with the request?
"Boxers? Babe, I think you like me better without them." he teases her, despite the seriousness on his face.
"Just do it, love. Your naked self is quite distracting for me and I need to ask something serious from you," she tells him, throwing a fresh boxer towards him that hits him on the face.
She turns away from him, her heart thumping furiously in her chest. She was scared - there was absolutely no denying it. She knew that they were in the early phase of their relationship but she has never been more sure about anything else.
She had known him for a long time and she just knew that she has to do this.
This was the right thing to do even though it may change his life forever - for better or worse, they are yet to find that. Her hands clasp the box in her hand. She inhales and exhales deeply to somewhat calm herself down but right now, nothing seems to work out.
She feels hands on her waist and a head rests on her shoulder. Kisses are planted on her neck, making her weak on her knees.
"Zain..." she moans as she turns to face him. Her hold on the red box almost becomes weak but she holds on to it because that thing was very important.
She pushes him away, making Zain frown and confused.
"What's going on, angel?" he asks her.
She exhales one last time before meeting his eyes. She can do this.
She opens the box, showing Zain the contents of it.
"Zain Dhawan, will you marry me?" she finally asks him, her heart basically threatening to explode out of her chest.
She watches nervously as Zain's face transforms from that of frown to surprise and then, a smile finally appears on his handsome face.
Before she could process her mood change, she feels lips pressed against her and she gets the answer she needs. Tears threaten to leave her eyes but she calms herself down. She won't cry in front of him, just yet. She smiles against the kiss, her emotions completely flustered. She couldn't be happier.
"Yes. A million times yes." Zain says.
"But I should have been the one asking you that." she hears him say as she watches him take out a ring, hers, from the box and then kneeling down.
"So, Kiara Kapoor, will you do me the honour of being my wife?" Zain asks and Kiara giggles.
"Yes, idiot. Of course, yes," she replies in between her laugh.
"I know I am that great," Zain replies as he slips in the ring in her finger, the diamond sparkling against the ring.
She does the same with him, the platinum ring looking beautiful in his finger. He was finally hers. Hers and hers alone. She now had the ring as a sweet reminder and proof.
"My mother had got them designed shortly after I was born. She used to tell me to give it to someone I see my future with. Someone who I love with all my heart. I know my father wasn't the kindest of the man but he was the perfect husband to my mother. And I really hope that the love they shared could be found in us, if not stronger. That's why I wanted these rings to be a reminder that no matter what, I would love you and protect you. I love you a lot, Zain. I love you." Kiara finally confesses all the emotions she had felt throughout these years transforming into words.
Zain grabs her in a tight hug and she rests her head on his shoulder, returning the hug. She feels secure and finally at home.
Her home was where Zain was.
"I love you too, Kiara. I always have and always will. You are my end and my beginning." she hears him say and her heart flutters.
They stay in that pose for sometimes, enjoying each other's presence. She can't predict the future but she knew that the present was all she ever wanted - perfect and with Zain.
"Kiara Kapoor Dhawan has a nice ring to it," she says as they release each other from the hug.
Zain chuckles.
"Whatever you want, angel," Zain replies as he leans in to capture her lips with his.
