Kiara
"I didn't know I was starving till I tasted you."

KIARA WAS CAREFUL about where she steps because the blindfold around her eyes obstructed her vision which she would have very much liked at this point of time. But Zain insisted on it - claiming that he wanted her to have the complete 'surprise' experience.
She hoped that Zain wouldn't pull one of his classic pranks as a kid and make her fall flat on her butt - because if he did, then he is in real trouble. No kisses for a week - the ideal punishment. But then, she thought it would be a punishment for her than him since she loved those soft lips of his.
Gosh, he had her addicted.
Maybe she would take away his phone and laptop. He seems to spend an awfully long time on his laptop these days - but then with his job and music album coming it was genuine. It won't hurt him to take them away for a day, at least.
"And we are here," Zain whispers in her ears that send a chill down her spine.
What she could make out till now was that they were outside - someplace with green grass and cold fresh air. Maybe the mountains - but she remembered no mountains in New York. So, where were they? She hates not knowing. Blame on her for being a curious cat.
Kiara feels Zain untie her blindfold and soon enough, Kiara's eyes are blessed with the beautiful sight in from of her.
Yes, Zain completely outdid himself this time.
Her mouth hangs open, giving an unobstructed entrance to any moth that flew in the surroundings right now and her eyes were wide open with shock. She had never been blown away like that.
Ever.
"This is amazing. Everything is amazing. I love you so much." she replies, breaking away from the kiss.
The smile never leaves her.
"Did I tell you how beautiful you look, tonight?" Zain asks, a sweet smile on his face. The way his eyes were staring into hers was making her weak on her knees and she just wanted to take him then and there.
"A couple of times," she replies with a chuckle.
Kiara really hoped she looked nice since she took her time in getting ready. Her long navy blue gown with off-shoulder front sparkled with the glitter on it - giving her the appearance of a true fairytale princess. Her hair was left free since Zain liked them down with some flower decorations on top. She wore some small diamond earrings. And the rose smell coming from her body wash and her perfume better drive Zain nuts because she literally thought she smelled like a rose garden right now.
"Well, they are not enough. You look beautiful. So beautiful. Now, shall we proceed?" he says.
Kiara smiles and nods. Zain takes her hands in his and they walk to the table.
Kiara's stomach growled when she laid her eyes on the dishes that awaited her. Her favorite - chicken biryani! Gosh, he couldn't be more perfect.
She loved this guy, a lot. He knew her very well - the fact that she would prefer eating something homely on a date above those fine dining dishes any day.
But it is not any day that she goes on a date like this.
"I don't care about you, but I am going to dig in. And the leg piece is mine," she claims.
Zain chuckles as Kiara literally digs in her food - not caring about her princess appearance since common, even princesses grow crazy over food. A girl's gotta eat, right?
Zain follows her pursuit and they have their dinner under the clear night sky.
Two childhood friends, now lovers just finding comfort in each other's presence and making memories to cover up for the years they were forced to stay apart from each even though Kiara knew, that their time lost could never come back.
What they have is the now and each other. And she is going to make every damn second count.
"So, I want to ask you something," Zain says, making a conversation.
Kiara momentarily stops and looks at Zain. She wasn't sure where this conversation was going. She takes a sip from the glass of champagne Zain served her.
"Go on..." she replies.
"Umm....why me?" he asks.
And with that question, Kiara is left confused. Why him? Is he kidding? Can't he see how amazing he is?
Kiara drops her cutlery and stands up. She walks to him and her eyes never leave his. She motions him to make some space for her and he does so.
She then, sits on his lap, her hands around his neck.
"Why you? Well, you because you care about me. Because ever since we were young, you made sure that there was a smile on my face when I was around you. Because you make my heart flutter like no other and you are the only person on my mind all the time. Because you live your life to the fullest and even though you have gone through so much in your childhood, you still stand here with that handsome smile on your face. Because ever since I was a kid, I only imagined having a family with you. Because your voice is the only thing that keeps me sane. I love the way you get nervous around me, I love the way you take away my worries. I love the way you run your hand through your hair when you are thinking about something. I love the way your cheeks flush when I kiss you. I love every damn thing about you, Zain Dhawan. So, the question shouldn't exist." she replies.
And as soon as she finishes, Zain's lips crash against hers and she is left speechless. His lips are careful and slow - like he is wanting to show how vulnerable he is. He pulls apart, quite reluctantly and simply stares into those grey eyes he is so much in love with.
"Care for a dance, angel?" he asks and Kiara simply nods.
They stand up and walk to the middle of the candles that surround them. Zain increases the volume and then closes the distance between him and Kiara.
Kiara wraps her hands around his neck and rests her head on his shoulder. Zain's hand find her waist and he rests his chin on her head.
And the two lovers in the quietness of nature and the serenity of the night hold on to each other and dance like they are the only beings in the world.
