"Payback is a bad bitch And baby, I'm the baddest"

SWEAT and blood dripped through Kiara's head, but her hold and attention on the gun she held in her hand never wavered. Her anger fueled her ambition to press that trigger, the culprit leaning in front of her. Satisfaction swelled in her heart for she had been waiting for this moment for years.

Her body ached with all the fighting she had done previously and she was certain that her beautiful face was now adorned by bruises. But they were worth it. All this pain and hate was worth it.

The sound of rain spread in the air, the smell of mud surrounding them. Dead bloodied bodies surrounded her and her soon-to-be victim but it didn't affect her. Death was something she had grown accustomed to for death was a part of life, the reason why she was standing here.

She smirked at her victim, Anil Thakur, a multi-millionaire and in simple words, a complete asshole. Known for his playboy ways, yet being married to a well-known actress and fathering five-year-old son, he lived for money. His role in the black market was well known by many, yet he was safe under the protection of power-hungry politicians. His death was going to create a commotion in the world of business, but little did she care.

"Please, let me go. I have a wife and a son." Anil begged as he tried to look at the woman who made him taste his death, but her face was covered in a black mask.

Kiara laughed, evilly. Was he really using the family excuse even though both of them knew that they would be better without him? The nerve of this man!

"The wife you were currently cheating on. I don't see the love, Mr Thakur." Kiara said as she placed the gun on his head.

She could feel him shaking, and boy, did it feel good. Fear was what she fed on and ruled for. Fear is humanity's greatest tool, the one that keeps them on a check and yet, could be misused very meticulously. Kiara knew fear, it wasn't that she wasn't scared yet over the years, she grew numb towards it by keeping her feelings at bay. In the world she lived in, feelings held no place. If you have feelings, you are going to end up dead one day or the other.

She took out her mask, not caring that he would be able to see her face because he was going to be dead, eventually.

Anil's eyes widened when he saw her, he was completely shocked to see her. Everyone knew her, she was the new girl in the business world. Making billions everyday, she was the source of attention for every man in their world. Her beauty left them breathless, each wanting her on their bed. She was the sex goddess and everywhere she went, she broke hearts.

"You!" was only what Anil managed to get out.

She had done this to him! Taken his millions and soon, his life.

"Yes, bitch. This is what death looks like." Kiara said as she smirked at him, enjoying the look of shock on her face.

"Why?" he demanded.

Kiara sighed, she knew this was coming. It had happened before with her too, each of her victims demanding the reason for this torture. Each one of them clueless. Why wouldn't they be? They had many enemies after all.

But they never see her coming. The girl in the shadows. For they looked at her only as a sex object, somebody they can enjoy for one night and throw off the next morning. They disgusted her, but then, men with power are like that. They can't bear the pressure of the crown that rests on their head, each surrendering to its greed of power. Misusing it in every part of the way. They don't see a woman as a threat.

But little do they know that it's the queen which is the most powerful piece in chess. If she doesn't want the king to live, he wouldn't. She plays in the shadows, yet she is the most threatening.

Her father taught her to use their ignorance as a tool and get what you want. Use your weakness as your strength.

"Does Abhishek Kapoor ring a bell?" she asked, as she circled around him.

The name sent chills down Anil's spine and he didn't need to guess what was happening with him. He was now scared, for his life. Even in his death, Abhishek Kapoor haunted him. The terror he had instilled in his heart was still alive and fresh.

He looked into Kiara's eyes and when he did, he saw him. Those same eyes, filled with power and domination. Terror. That's all he saw. His heart then gave up, for he knew he wouldn't survive. He had thought that Abhishek Kapoor was out of his life, yet he had sent his daughter to bring back the reign of terror.

He now understood why five other colleagues were murdered in the span of two months. She was back.

And he knew that she would be worse than him.

"Please, he made us do this. We didn't know that Abhishek was in the car. Please!" Anil pleaded but in vain.

She wasn't going to let go of him when she finally had him.

Her phone buzzed, indicating that her time was up and her team waited for her downstairs. They were true fighters, each trained over the years to be the best and to kill without any thought.

"Look's like time's up. See you in hell, bastard." Kiara said as she pulled the trigger.

One bullet and Anil's body fell down, lifeless with a hole in his head.

Kiara sighed, releasing the breath she didn't know she was holding. She felt satisfied, her plan finally coming to an end.

Just one more to go.
