Kind of an AU. Important note at the bottom.
Annabeth POV
I opened the door.
"Hey," Percy greeted. He held a small bouquet of hand-picked flowers in his hands. He handed them to me. "Happy Holidays," he grinned.
I was shocked, surprised, and touched, all at the same time. "What do you mean, 'happy holidays'? It's the middle of summer."
Percy touched the back of his neck. "I guess you caught me. I just wanted an excuse to get you flowers," he shrugged, and looked away from me. I touched his jaw, turning his face so that he was looking at me. His eyes widened and his breath went rigid.
"Thanks, I love it when you do things like this!" I said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. I let go of his face, turning to go find a jar to put the flowers in. "By the way, my Dad stopped by earlier. He asked to stay the night."
"Oh? What did you say?"
"I said yes. And before you get any ideas, he kinda, sorta, doesn't know that we're dating" I mumbled, filling a tall jar halfway with some water.
"What?! Annabeth, you still haven't told him!"
"It never came up?" I excused myself.
"We've been dating for three years and it never came up? For some reason I don't think that's true," Percy said quietly, crossing his arms and leaning against the side of the kitchen doorway. I could sense the slightest bit of hurt in his voice.
"He knows that we're friends," I think we both hated that I said that. "And that we hang out and stuff. I would've told him already, but..." I trailed off and looked at the floor. "He doesn't like you."
I felt Percy's arms around me and returned the gesture, wrapping my arms around the middle of his torso and resting my head on his chest, breathing in his oceanic scent. I felt him shift so that he could rest his head on my shoulder. It worked better when we were sitting, opposed to standing, because I'm so much shorter than him, but we make it work.
I don't know how long we stood like that, soaking in the others presence.
"I'm scared," I started. "Of my father finding out that we're dating and disowning me again." I mumbled into his chest.
Percy picked his head up from my shoulder and lifted my face with his fingers so I would look at him. I met his green eyes with mine.
"He might not approve, but he won't disown you, Annabeth." He said softly, trying to comfort me. He swept a stray strand of hair out of my face. We shuffled over to the couch, being that I didn't want to break the hug. Percy plopped down onto the squishy cushions, and I sat next to him. Percy picked up a blue blanket from the floor and tossed it over the two of us, giving my forehead a kiss and taking the remote, picking out a movie.

I woke up after a couple hours of sitting on the couch, cuddling, kissing here and there, and watching a few movies, to a knock on the door and Percy shaking my shoulder slightly.
"You want me to get the door?" Percy asked, sitting up and stretching out his arms. Another knock. I yawned and nodded. I headed over to the bathroom down the hallway as Percy got the door.
After I did my business and washed my hands, I fixed up my hair a little bit, being that it was slightly messy from my short nap. I walked back out to the main room, I be greeted with the sight of my father and Percy, awkwardly sitting on the couch and in the chair adjacent to it.
"Oh. Dad, I didn't realize you would be here so soon," I said, fiddling with the ends of my hair.
My father's gaze darted from Percy to myself, his brain most likely tryin to figure out why Percy had answered my door.
