You are more than free to skip this page but please don't skip number 1 and 2! You'll be very confused without it.
Just a few things before you start reading that are important to know:
1. Huge TW! This story will have depictions of abuse, depression, suicide, sex, toxic relationships, and skipping meals. I really hope I am not missing anything here but overall this isn't a necessarily light hearted or super dark book. Please, please, please do not read if you are either triggered by these things or don't feel comfortable with it!
2. This story takes place during the Marauders' era. There will be some messy timeline inconsistencies but please excuse them... I really tried my best to sort them out. There will be several things that I simply 'make up' so please don't flame me for it :). It is helpful to know that Alexa and Abraxas Malfoy are cousins with Lucius Malfoy. Abraxas just shares Lucius' father's name so in actuality he's Abraxas Malfoy II. Also, Peter Pettigrew is not really a part of this story but he still does exist. He just won't really be a character because he's a traitorous rat. Literally.
3. This story will take place over 3 books. This is 1 out of 3 so you're at the beginning!
4. I decided to finish this book before I published it to make sure that it was done and I could keep a consistent schedule for you guys! I will update a chapter every Friday :)
5. Every now and then there will be a 'minichapter'. I will release things alongside the weekly chapter if there is one. They will always take place with another person's POV. They will be their own events and will not just replay the previous chapter in the other person's POV, don't worry. Sometimes, I don't like switching POV stories but it is very important to read them as they fill in important parts of the story!
6. Obviously, I don't own any of these characters! The Harry Potter world is made and owned by JK Rowling and most characters belong to her. The only thing I own is the storyline and the characters I made. The only characters that I have created are Alexa Malfoy, Marabella Evergreen, and Lucilla Jade. I also just made up names for Alexa and Abraxas' parents because I couldn't find any names that JK Rowling made for them.
