Kwon Shina's POV

I sat inside the bathroom, locking myself in as I try my best to drown out their screaming.

"She's your responsibility too, idiot!!!" my mom screamed at the top of her lungs.

"SHUT UP AND JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY!" my dad screamed louder.

I pounded my closed fist on the mirror, breaking them into pieces as they fell on the sink. I stared at the shreds of glass with droplets of blood coming from my wounded hand. I picked up a piece and held it on my palm, running my fingers through the sharp ends. I slid down with my back resting on the wall until I was sitting with my knees near my chest. I pulled up my sleeves and saw familiar scars from last week.

"She shouldn't have been born! You and that brat are such a pain in the ass!"

I felt my blood suddenly oozing out from my skin. Warm liquid running down from my cheeks, another from my arm. I slid the glass another time, and another and another.

"My life would have been better without her! Without the both of you!"

I stared at my wrist and hovered the sharp, bloody glass over it with my shaking hands.

"Just die already!"

Blood covered my whole arm as the blood from my wrist started filling my palm.

I thought this pain will be enough but I couldn't stop crying. My heart still hurts more than my throbbing wounds. Why couldn't I just die now?

"Shina?" I heard my mother's voice after a loud slam of the door. "Shina, dear, open up." I heard her as she knocks on the door, but I didn't want to stand up. I didn't want to let her see the pool of blood surrounding me.

"What is it mom?" I asked, trying to sound casual, choking in the groan of pain from my wounds and the weakening of my body due to blood loss.

"Dinner's ready... Let's eat honey."

She was also putting up a front...

Like as if I wouldn't hear their argument. Hell I bet even our neighbors across the street could hear us.

"Sure. Let me just finish up."

As soon as I heard her footsteps going away, I tried to stand up but I failed. My knees were too weak that I had to support myself by holding onto the sink beside me, pulling myself up. I looked up at the mirror and saw what I mess I was.

"Maybe dad was right." I mumbled. "Maybe I should just die.

"What do you think about moving away, love?" My mother asked as we quietly ate our dinner. I've cleaned up the mess in the bathroom, but I know she was aware of what was happening in there, and she wanted to speak up but she didn't how to, so she ended up asking something I thought was a joke.
