Park Hanaa's POV

I grew up without knowing my parents, having more than 20 siblings as each of us orphans treated eachother like we were real siblings. It didn't matter for whatever reason my parents left me... sure it's sad to know they didn't fight for me, but I grew up in good hands and I'm happy.

"Christine... you're getting your parents!" I smiled at her as she packed in our shared bedroom. "Sure, it's gonna be lonely here alone, but I'm really happy for you."

"If only I could pack you in my bags." She said, stopping to look at me with tearful eyes.

"Stop it! I'm doing my best not to cry, you idiot!" I said, my tears now won't stop falling as I pulled her into a tight hug.

Christine was the same age as me and we have been the best of friends as we grew up together for 13 years. We were hard to separate. You would see us hanging out with the others, but you'd never see us apart.

Well... this time is an exception.

"Christine dear, are you ready?" a woman in her near 30s called out. She must be the lawful mother of Christine now.

"Yes, ma'am." She said, pulling away as she closed up her small bag after putting everything she had in.

"Call me mom, dear." She smiled, holding out her hand to her before directing a smile towards me. I bowed a little, walking them out as I didn't want to leave Christine's side.

"Well this is it..." she sighed beside me as her mother walked to the car, giving us time for our last farewell.

"No, don't say it's goodbye. We'll see eachother soon okay?" I said, and she nodded.

"I'll call here and give you our contact info. You better not forget to call or I'll kill you." She threatened and I laughed, hugging her.

"I'll miss you." I said, and I felt her hugging me back.

"I'll see you soon." She whispered.

5 years later.

"I'm at the mall with my brother. Hurry up!" Christine said on the other line.

"Just a moment! I'll be coming alright!" I answered, laughing at her.

"But you have to hurry for your curfew..." she muttered.

"I'm 18 and independent, Christine. I'm out of the orphanage, but I still visit sometimes." I said, walking towards the mall's entrance where we'll be meeting. Soon enough, I saw her with her phone held up to her ears beside a guy who was facing his back towards me, watching something from the TV appliance store. He was too amazed at the mute Frozen where Olaf was dancing, and that was cute. I shook my head and ran towards Christine, crushing her from my hug.

"You grew taller!" Christine cheered.

"And you didn't!" I joked and she pouted. "But you're still prettier than I am." I said and she smiled.

"I'm not denying that after you've insulted me." She said, crossing her arms but a smile was fighting their way to her lips. She noticed that her brother was still lost in his own world. I giggled and she smacked his arm, gaining his attention.
