Sad. The opposite of happy. Three letters long, one syllable. Synonyms such as miserable, gloomy, down. But not depressed. Because Kira was not depressed. She was simply sad. Sad because she had a shitty apartment in the middle of Sydney, not enough money for a decent amount of food (due to the ridiculously high rent of the shitty apartment) and was up to her ears in uni debt. So no, Kira wasn’t depressed, she just wasn’t happy, that’s all.
