Leigh-Anne's P.O.V
I thought about giving Chloe a lesson on manners. But to make it more interesting, I'm gonna let Jade do the talking. I know Chloe hates Jade a lot, not more than she hates me, but just enough to make this lesson a whole lot worse for her."Jade, why don't you teach the girl some manners. She could use some." I told Jade. She happily agreed.
Jade's P.O.V
I walked over to Chloe and watched her silently as she wrote a song. She was very concentrated on her work and I felt as if I'd get a punch in the face if I interrupted her so I just stayed silent until she stopped writing. She looked up at me with those dark brown eyes and frowned. "You shouldn't frown. It causes wrinkles. Not like you'd look bad though. Nothing in this world could make you look bad even if it tried." I complimented. She just rolled her eyes. "Jade, I don't know if you know this but...you're not my type." She said bluntly. She cocked her head. "Oh really? Then what is your type, Chloe?" I asked. "Anyone but you. Please leave me alone" Chloe snapped. Jeez Louise that girl really needs to learn some manners! "Y' know, you don't have to be tough all the time. Being kind makes you look just as cool" I said. Chloe scoffed. "I don't act tough because I think it's cool" she defended. "Ohhh, so it's an act? Because you said act. Your words, not mine" She smirked.
She just clenched her fists and grumbled.
Later That Day/Jade's P.O.V
"Chloe, please! Just try to be nice! It's really not that hard and I can't even believe I'm begging you to be nice." I yelled as I tried to catch up to her. "Not gonna happen, Jadey!" She yelled. I stopped in my tracks and had a tiny smile on my face. "Did you just call me Jadey?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I caught up to her to stop her from walking away."Let's just start over, okay? I'm Jade" I introduced, sticking out my hand to shake. "And I hate that you exist" she forced a smile, shaking her hand. "Ooookay that's...a start, we might need to work on that introduction though," I said.
"Jade has the thought ever occurred to you that maybe the reason why I run away from you is that..."
"That you're scared?" I smirked.
"No. No, I am not scared!" She defended.
"Okay, then what is it, love?"
"Do you have to keep calling me that?"
"Why not? It's my nickname for you?"
"Well, here's my nickname for you: Trash." She said, walking to the door. I grabbed her hand, making her turn around.
"Ok hang on a second, Chloe. Who exactly hurt you so much that you have the audacity to take your anger out on others who had nothing to do with it?"
"Why would you even wanna know? You don't even like me."
I paused.
"What makes you think I don't like you?"
She looked at me with a slightly surprised face.
"Chloe, I don't hate you. I don't want to hate you.
"I won't be mad at you if you do"
"But I don't!"
"Why not!?
"Because I care about you!" I yelled.
*silence*
"Look, I know you don't feel like telling me what's hurting you deep down, but I want you to know that I'm here...if you need anything""Jade, I've never told anyone about my problems. A few of them...I've never even told the boys"
"Well, you can tell me. I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to."
"Look...no offense, but I don't just share my problems and secrets with anyone...especially not people I've just met."
"No offense taken," I said understandably.
With that said, Chloe just ended the conversation right then and there and walked out of the room to go home.
"Couldn't teach her any manners, huh?" Leigh-Anne chuckled, creepily appearing from behind me.
"It's not your fault, Jade. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. In this case, Chloe can do neither." chuckled
I gave her a confused look with a raised eyebrow.
"Get it? Cuz the horse...and the...no?...okay" her laughter faded after a moment of silence in response to her joke. "Anyways, see ya tomorrow, Jadey". I waved to Leigh-Anne as she left.
"This lesson might be harder than I thought. But it's one she'll definitely never forget" I mumbled to myself.
