A/N: Ethan is not creepy. I promise. XD Okay so I feel like I'm talking to myself but oh well! So if you're getting bored btw, I was trying to make this be a good length. Don't worry, it'll get better. This story will also go through some deep cleaning soon, I'm not totally in love with how it turned out.
Ethan had finally made it home on his bike thinking all the way about Amelia's weird behavior. Something was wrong. That much would be evident to anyone in his situation. Amelia probably wasn't just some weird girl with purple eyes who didn't like to talk. Anyone could see that. He didn't know how to get answers out of her. He finally decided he needed to find out where she lived. Not creepy, He reasoned. Just curious. He told his mom he was going home with his friend Jack after school. He would probably stop by after following Amelia home. He wasn't going to do anything creepy but her not giving him answers was almost like she was begging him to snoop around. Just as he was falling asleep her eyes flashed through his mind. He couldn't shake the feeling he got when he saw them. It felt... powerful. He shook the thought away and drifted off. That night he dreamed a strange dream. When he woke up again, he couldn't remember what it had been about. All he could remember was that it had involved Amelia and her secret.
✶✶✶
At school the next morning, Amelia was looking for Ethan. She didn't want him to come, actually she was looking for him so she could avoid him. She was being particularly inconspicuous today. She had worn her navy blue turtleneck and kept her hair down and over her face. She piled her stack of books at just the right angle to block the rest of the world out and sat close to the wall. She hunched over her book and looked up every once in a while to scan the roaring cafeteria. She had even gone so far as to wear brown contacts hoping he would think he had been dreaming or hallucinating or something. It didn't take long for her to disappear into her book and find herself immersed in the story unfolding around her. She felt herself relaxing. In books, the main characters were always talented and she knew that it was going to be alright for her too. No matter what happened.
A/N: Once again! He's not creepy! You'll see. I needed it for something else. I hope you enjoyed!
