A/N: Sorry for not posting a while. Anyway, I'm back again! Hope you enjoy!

Ethan had tailed Amelia home like he had planned. It took just about all his willpower (and a branch that had gotten hooked around his foot) to keep him from leaping out at the wolf boy when he grabbed Amelia.

He had continued to follow them through the woods to Amelia's house. When he arrived, he was shocked to see her house in flames. When he saw Amelia fly away in the poachers' car his heart sank. He had already failed his simple plan. The best he could do now was find a way to get into the car Amelia's mom was in and hope they would take her to the same place. He snuck over to the car as Amelia was talking to a man with a motorcycle helmet. When he got to the car he frowned, he wasn't exactly sure how one would go about breaking into a car. Needless to say, he hadn't really been taught anything of that type at school. He frowned and kicked the car in frustration. Surprisingly, the car door opened.

"And this is why it's bad to make your cars easily accessible to all you little minions." He muttered. When it opened, Amelia's mom gasped.

"Ethan?" She asked quietly. "You might want to get something to help you blend in."

Ethan nodded. "I'll be right back." He closed the door to the car and turned back to the large group of poachers. Once he had found one about his size he grabbed a pot with a violet growing in it and smashed it over the kid's head as he was pulling off his helmet to wipe the sweat from his brow. Ethan winced as the boy collapsed and hit his head on the side of the cottage. He carefully removed the outfit and put it on himself. Once he had donned the helmet, no one would know the difference. He started to walk over to the car as quickly as he could without drawing attention to himself.

Suddenly someone grabbed his arm. He jumped but did his best to recover.

"Kyle." The man said gruffly and handed Ethan a flamethrower. "It's your turn. Finish it up. We have something else to take care of."

Ethan froze. He couldn't just burn Amelia's house down. The man eyed him. "Decide you weren't ready after all? Need to go in a cell with the potens?" Ethan trembled. If he didn't do it, he would blow his cover and he wouldn't be able to save her. He knew she wouldn't be able to live there again but it still hurt. Resigned, he raised the flamethrower and started to burn.
