Once I realized what I had done , I jumped up and sprinted out of the room , almost knocking Vic on his ass . I suddenly felt sick to my stomach , so I ran into the bathroom . Hopeing that I was gonna throw up so I'd have an exscuse to stay in here . Sadly , I didn't .
"Hey ! Avery ! You in here !" It was Jaimie . I breathed a sigh of relief and ran out to hug him .
"Whoa , whoa , whoa . You alright ?" Jaimie asked , giving me a brotherly hug . Tears started to well up into my eyes and I started to cry .
"I kissed Vic , Jaimie ." I could feel Jaimie tense up . He looked at me and chuckled , giving me an awkward smile .
"What are you smiling for ?" I asked dropping my arms and crossing them over my chest .
Jaimie tried to keep a straight face but whenever he tried he would laugh and smile .
"It's just , Vic's liked you for quite some time now . I mean , if anything , he wanted that to happen more then anything ." I looked at Jaimie , eyes wide . I pushed passed Jaimie and started running .
It was somewhat difficult to run in my skinny jeans , so I would occasionaly trip a bit when I was running . I ran all the way to Vic's changing room and flung the door open . And drew in a sharp breath .
He was kissing some girl . I didn't make enough noise to be noticed , so I just stepped back slowly and turned around . I couldn't believe what I had seen . I ran , I ran fast and far , I didn't stop . I ended up at a library . I sat down near the anime section and pulled out the closest book I saw and began to read it . I plugged in my headphones and started blasting Paradise by Craig Owens . I stayed there for what must of been an hour or 2 reading graphic novels . Probably reading about over 20 of them .
I had been reading a book when I saw someone's shoes standing in front of me . I looked up and it was Mike . He smiled down at me and sat down next to me .
"What's wrong , hun ?" Mike asked , pulling out my headphones . I swallowed hard , swallowing back tears along with it .
"Who was that girl , that Vic was kissing ?" I asked straight forward . Mike gave me a confused look then his eyes widened .
"Ohhhh , you mean his ex ? Oh , sometimes feelings he has for her come back all over again so he get's a bit over excited and some shit happens . Nothing serious though . Why , what's wrong ?"
I could feel the tears falling off my cheeks . Mike wiped them and smiled slightly .
"You like him don't you ?" Mike said , turning my head to look at him . I shook my head then started to cry all over again . I put my head in Mike's chest and cried there for a bout a good 10 minutes till Jaimie came storming in .
"You okay , Avery ? Me , Iris and Aurora have been looking for you like crazy !" I jumped up and hugged Jaimie .
"You know , for an older brother , by only one year , you worry way too much ." Mike laughed and Jaimie had hugged me back . Mike lifted me and put me over his shoulder and had started walking .
"Well , we gotta get back to the bus . You have to come with us too ." Mike said while walking with me over his shoulder . I laughed and shook my head .
"Well , obviously ." We walked a bit of ways and I could hear Iris and Aurora screaming my name .
"MIKE ! PUT HER DOWN!" Iris said slapping Mike . He gently put me down and put his hands up in surrendor and walked away .
Iris's long lime green hair was in a messy bun , she was wearing her favorite half black half white skinnies and her favorite Falling In Reverse tank top . Aurora , on the other hand , was wearing some sweat pants and an old baggy t-shirt that she had tied in the back . Her long orange curls running down her back .
"Vic was looking for you earlier . I told him I didn't know where you had run off to ." Aurora said , playing with her gages .
"Where is he now ?" I asked , my eyes wide and frantic . Aurora shrugged and Iris gestured toward the bus . I booked it running . And , I couldn't help but have the same thought running through my head .
I love him ...
