The amount of sleep that I wish I got would've been hours, the actual amount of sleep I did get was only an hour! No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't bring myself to sleep and now I have thirty minutes to get ready to go to my stupid training with Eric. I can understand why Max couldn't train me, but why couldn't we have really early training sessions like this?! I slowly got out of bed and walked over to the very open bathroom so I could do my bathroom things, I quickly stripped out of my clothes so I could shower.

I turned on the water blindly so I could either freeze my ass off or burn my skin, either way, I just need to shower to refresh myself. When I stepped into the shower, I so badly wanted to jump back and scream how frozen I felt, but I sucked it up and started to wash myself off. The sound of heavy boots could be heard from outside the dormitory, every step made my heart jump out of my chest in fear that someone will walk in here and see me completely naked. Although, I don't think that would be the worst thing to happen here, maybe someone witnessing me at my weakest would terrify me more.

I was too engrossed in my thoughts to not hear anything go on around me, which was a huge mistake because in a second I felt the water go from freezing cold to scalding hot. My body whipped around, turned off the water, and made eye contact with the culprit. Eric's almost quiet chuckle made me feel like I had steam coming out of my ears, "What the hell was that for?!" I whisper yelled at him. "I was making sure you were awake sunshine," Eric held a towel in his hand and extended it out to me, "need this?"

My whole body felt hot from embarrassment as I realized that I was standing in front of him, completely naked. I snatched the towel from his hand and as quickly as I could, I wrapped the towel around me. "You are almost late for training." I looked at the clock on the wall then looked at Eric in anger. "It is only three thirty-five, I got in the shower five minutes ago!"

"Well hurry up, get dressed, and meet me outside, Sunshine," I watched him turn around and walk away, "looks like someone got a tattoo." Even though I couldn't see his face, I could hear him smirk. I placed my hand on the wet bandage that was wrapped around my underboob before I put my clothes back on. I put my hair in a high ponytail while I was walking out of the dormitory, "Let's get this done and over with." I stormed past him and walked to the training room.

The eyes that were on me made my skin crawl and I quickly turned to face Eric, stopping him in his place, "What? Was watching me shower not good enough for you?" I growled at him before barging through the doors of the training room.

"Okay since I'm not liking your attitude, I want ten laps around the training room. Now." This place was at least the size of three chemistry labs at Erudite, it will take me at least half an hour to run around here ten times! "Ten times?!" I yelled out. "Do you want to make it twenty?" His voice fought back against mine as he brought himself close to me, towering over me. Instead of saying anything else, I just started running so I could get this done and over with, "And if I see you walk, I'll add more laps." Why am I not surprised...

Just as predicted, it took me half an hour to run around here, and as much as I so badly wanted to throw my body onto the floor to help calm down the fire in my legs, I just leaned against the wall to support my shaking legs. Eric threw me a water bottle, which I caught without hesitation, and opened it the second it reached my hand. Drinking the liquid instantly cooled me off and I have never been happier to have water in my life. "Okay, now it's time to teach you the basics of fighting."

Oh boy, he is going to be in for a rude awakening once this starts, I can't wait to kick his ass! We walked over to one of the many mats that they and before he went on it, Eric took off his shoes. "Now before you get up here, I am going to demonstrate a few things. Now let's start with the fighting position-" That's when I stopped paying attention to what he was saying.

I have been taught everything about the Dauntless fighting style for years so none of this stuff is brand new information, I'm also doing this to see if I can get Eric's attention to let me actually show him what I've got. "Are you even listening to me?" Eric's voice brought me back to reality and I smirked on the inside but kept a straight face on the outside. "Huh? Oh, um, yeah I was listening. I just wasn't paying attention."

"Really? You weren't paying attention? With that mentality, everyone here will kill you with one punch." My plan is working! Get him angry Matthews, get him really angry, "No I was listening." I folded my arms over my chest, mimicking his posture right in front of me. "Look, if you aren't going to take this seriously-" I cut him off. "Not take this seriously? Do you have any idea what my mother is like? I have no choice, but to take this seriously."

"Prove it, show me that you paid attention." I quickly took off my boots and got onto the mat. I stood on the other side of it, facing Eric, and got into the fighting stance. "If you show me that you weren't paying attention, you will run for the rest of our training without any breaks. Prove me wrong, all you will have to do for the remainder of our time is set up the training room." It looks like I'm going to be setting up in a matter of minutes. He mirrored my posture and that's when it began, we both circled the mat until he finally tried to take the first punch. When I dodged his punch with ease, I could see his eyes slightly grow bigger, but that gave me an opportunity to grabbed his fist, twisting it, and swiftly side kicked him. Eric stumbled to the side which caused him to get out of my grip, but I instantly kicked him onto the ground, slamming my body onto his so he couldn't get back up. I punched him in the face multiple times until he tapped his hand on the ground, "Okay, enough." He coughed up a little blood.

His stone grey eyes looking into my honey ones, all I could read was shocked and I was hoping he could read triumph in mine, "How the hell did you learn to fight like that?"

"Oh, did I forget to mention that Max has been training me since I was five?" I smiled a sinister smile while batting my eyes. "This would've been helpful information before we started."

"Aww, where would the fun be in that? Now if you excuse me, I have some setting up to do." I got off of him and walked away, feeling happy with myself.
