"Initiates... Stand." The boom of Max's voice radiated throughout my body as we stood up slowly. I've been nervous about a lot of things in my life, but this? This is the most nerve-racking thing I have ever experienced, This moment can make or break all of us, hell this can make or break me. This one simple moment can either put me on top of it all or could send me running to the Factionless. Max's voice was faint as I stared off into space, sending myself down a never-ending "what if" spiral, but I snapped myself out of it as I heard the sound of cheering hit me like a ton of bricks. I snapped my head up to finally get a look at the board:
1. Ash
3. Jordan
5. Sonja
7. Tucker
8. Tom
That's it. We did it. We survived and we did it by finishing in the top 10, and myself? The number one spot. I wanted to start screaming with excitement but was cut off when I felt a pair of arms pick me up and throw me over their shoulders, I could tell it was Tom just from the cheering alone. "WE DID IT! WE DID IT!" A laugh erupted past my lips as he placed me back on the ground and wrapped me in a hug. The single hug turned into a group hug as I felt the hug get tighter and for a few brief moments, everything just felt right, everything felt okay. When we all pulled away, everyone started pushing and shoving us, yelling something about taking this celebration to The Pit. Which is great considering the dining hall is no place to really spread out and celebrate. As I followed the giant crowd of people, I felt a hand grab my arm and tug me in a different direction, when I looked to see who it was, Sonja was making a beeline towards the dormitory, "May I ask where we are going?"
"If you think I am going to be dancing and drinking and partying in the same outfit I had to face my fears in, you are sadly mistaken. I want to look hot, so that means you want to as well." Can't really argue with that logic now can I? When we got to the dorms, it was empty, for the most part all the hallways were as well since almost everyone was making their way to the Pit. It took us no time to get changed and soon we were walking to where the real fun would begin and the closer we got, the louder the noise rattled in my ears and the bass boomed throughout my body. As we got into the Pit, I felt myself gasp at the amount of people there, there is no way every single member of Dauntless is here tonight right? The grip on my hand got tighter as FireFox and I pushed deeper into the pit, moving through the sea of people to find our people. It felt like everyone was either already shitfaced drunk or really close to being it, especially with how some people were dancing on each other.
Not going to lie, the idea of getting drunk and letting loose sounded very appealing, considering I feel like I've been uptight and rigid ever since I dropped into this place just a handful of weeks ago, even with all the curveballs that have come my way. "There you guys are!!" The sigh of relief that came out of Sonja's mouth made me chuckle as she let go of my hand and grabbed ahold of Jericho's hand. They definitely are cute together, they just balance each other out so perfectly. I felt an arm sling over my shoulders and a dark glass bottle placed into my hands, "Come on my friends, tonight... WE CELEBRATE!" Tom wasn't wrong there and I sure as hell am not just going to sit around and watch everyone celebrate, I am joining in. With that being said, I brought the bottle up to my lips and took a swig, feeling the liquid burn on the way down. Whiskey. This was going to be a very fun and very long night.

Just a little chapter that was short sweet and to the point, nothing too crazy.
