A BIRD.
The bird.
The same bird that sat perched in Briellah's window just the morning before was back, and it's screaming woke her yet again. Annoyed at first, the girl pushed herself up onto her elbows; trying to blow the hair out of her face. She huffed, before recognizing the small animal from the morning prior. The green eyed girl tilted her head to the side, and stared at the creature.
It only stared right back.
She carefully removed the fluffy white covers from around her body and tugged on some socks; not removing her eyes from the bird once. She flicked on her bedroom light and walked over slowly, afraid she'd frighten the animal away. But she didn't.
"Hey little guy. You back?" She smiled softly, sitting on her window seat and running her fingertips gently down its back. Thinking she couldn't be heard by anyone; she began to talk. However JJ was standing outside, peaking in through the crack in her slightly open bedroom door. "Why do you keep coming here? Do you not have a home?"
Normally if the Maybank boy had seen someone speaking to a bird, he'd think they were insane. Yet somehow, he didn't think that about Briellah. He only saw it as natural kindness. He seemed to be changing his views on a lot of things, lately.
"You're so pretty! Sorry Seb scared you away the other day. He's kind of an idiot." She claimed, making JJ let out a breathy chuckle. She didn't seem to notice, but the bird did. Because after that, it flew away. The blond sighed, and walked back to the guest room deciding to leave her be.
Briellah decided she probably shouldn't go downstairs in tiny shorts that showed her whole ass. So she quickly changed into a pair of Grey Sweats and opted to keep her tan colored crop top on. Sighing, she walked over to her bathroom and brushed her teeth, before throwing her hair in a messy bun.
Deciding it was way too early to put her contacts in, she just kept her glasses on and headed to the other bedroom. She knew her brother would be at work by now, so she knocked softly on JJ's door. "You don't have to knock, y'know. Your house." He half shouted through the door. She playfully rolled her eyes before pushing the door open slowly. "Sorry blondie."
