PROLOGUE:
Sakura"Fushiguro-kun. . .?"
It confused me everytime Fushiguro-kun came to check on me. It was routine by now, just every night before bed he would knock on my bedroom door and ask to be let in.
He's polite about it though.
Not like random search days where they burst in.
"How are you feeling? Did you eat today?" The first question was obviously regulation enforced by the Elders.
How did I feel? Well, free, but trapped. I wanted to atleast walk without being watched, I wanted to tell them I'm not dangerous.
But, I highly doubt it's something they'll do for me.
"Fine, a-and yes, I made stew," The kitchens were to my disposal, so it wasn't hard to teach myself meals that Gojo-sensei gave me to try out. I just always checked them so not to alarm or scare anyone since I'm told I'm really quiet.
"Good, good. . ."
And by now, he'd usually walk out.
"Fushiguro-kun?"
But he stayed.
What's wrong?
He looked between his shoes and the guest slippers for my room, and it made my heart skip a beat. Was he thinking about staying and making friends? If so, I would love nothing more than to get close to Fushiguro-kun.
It has been four months, but he's kept his distance.
And I don't blame him.
"We have known eachother for a few months, and I wish for us to grow closer as students of Jujutsu Tech, so. . ." He looked up at me, making direct eye contact.
"May we call eachother by our first names now?"
This question brought me so much joy that it took a few seconds to register in my head, and I smiled brightly. So brightly that I smiled with my teeth, showing my tiny fangs and he quickly looked to the side.
Oh no!
I already startled him!
"A-ah, yes, I think we should start doing that. . .Megumi-kun," Even though he thought his name was distasteful and shouldn't be given to a boy, I quite liked it and I think it fits him.
"Good to know that we are in agreement, S-Sakura-chan," He nodded before bowing and exiting my room.
Yes!
We are finally getting closer!
Wait, does this mean we are friends now?
I mean, such formalities are so important, and he brought it up, so I think he does want to be friends!
I just have to remember not to do open-mouthed smiles.
