She's back.
Megumi

"Ouch!"

"You almost kissed her?!"

"Did you not hear me the first time?!"

Maki-senpai sighed. I brought my current predicament to her since she's an older person with experience.

And a girl.

"But why? Do you like Sakura-chan?"

And that's the problem.

"I. . .I don't know," I admitted in shame. It was wrong for me to use my vulnerable state and touch starved self on her, but I felt my heart beat faster and I just craved her in that moment.

"Ow!"

"You don't just attempt to kiss a girl because you're feeling bad! The best thing to do is confront her about it and talk. She's probably just as confused as you are," Maki-senpai explained.

She's right.

I know I like Sakura, but I just don't know if it's in that way.

"How do you think you feel about her?" She asked with a curious tone.

"I feel like I can come to her with anything, like a friend. I can ask her advice and in turn she asks me. She's a good teammate that I can rely on. . .but."

"But?"

"But, I also know I feel something whenever I see her. If she smiles at me with those tiny fangs poking out, I can't help but blush. Or whenever we tell eachother about our day, I always look forward to hearing what she has to say. And when we slept together-"

"Slept together?! Why not lead with that predicament?!" She shouted.

"N-no! Not like that! It was after Itadori died, and we were both in mourning. I. . .I couldn't sleep without having nightmares or seeing Sukuna. It was terrifying. But when she came to me with the same problem, we both slept together and," I smiled softly at the floor, my cheeks feeling warm, "and she held my hand in hers, and my arm was over her body and she kept it close to her heart. I could feel her soft breathing and it helped me go to sleep."

"So you basically spooned?"

That-that's spooning?

It seemed less intimate at the time.

"But from what you've told me, it sounds like you're really falling for Sakura-chan. All you need to really do is figure out if a relationship is what you both want."

And need.

I mean, Sukuna returning, Itadori dying.

It's not something to act on now.

"And go slow. If you both want this, you both have to take it the pace you're both comfortable with. Unfortunately, it's not immediately all cute Pinterest and Tumblr posts."

"Duh, everyone knows relationships take work-wait. . .why are you saying this like she likes me?" I questioned.

"She-she does?! Me?! Fushiguro Megumi?!"

"I-I didn't say she did, damnit! But, I also didn't say she didn't. But with everything going on right now and because of who you both are, you will face criticism for it. Especially Sakura."

She's right.

But I have to make sure that my feelings for Sakura are solid.

As to not waste her time.

Okay! Operating make sure I like Sakura so no one wastes their time is a go!

"Uhm, excuse me?" A woman tapped on my shoulder.

"Miss, are you from the Kyoto Prefecture? I don't think I've seen you around before," Maki-senpai spoke up.

"Kyoto? N-no, I seem to have. . .to have wandered in here. . ." But she started to collapse and we both dove to make sure her head didn't hit the concrete.

"Shit! Megumi, go find Gojo-sensei or Yaga-sensei! Hurry!" As I ran off, I couldn't shake the thought that I had seen her before.

Especially that black hair.
