For this mission, I was sanctioned to use as much power as I could get defeat this threat. Gojo-sensei was out of town and wouldn't be able to get to the threat in time, so it was just me and my classmates.

And it made it very clear that we wouldn't be getting out of here the second I felt the cool breeze from the door dissappear.

"Where's the door?!" Megumi-kun shouted, immediately making us all turn back to a steel wall.

"Huh?!"

"Th-The door's gone!"

"How?! We just came in through there, didn't we?!" Kugisaki-chan questioned.

"It'll be fine. The dog remembers the scent of the entrance," Megumi-kun informed us and they started petting him and scratching his belly.

"Good boy!"

"You deserve some jerky!"

"You are way too calm!" Megumi-kun snapped.

Yeah.

This Innate Domain is incomplete, so atleast we can get out of here.

"You really are dependable, Fushiguro-kun! Thanks to you, we'll be able to rescue people and save ourselves too," Itadori-kun smiled.

"Let's keep moving," Megumi-kun replied, and we all followed him through the narrow paths and hopped over a few pipes that moved during this Curses attempt at Innate Domain.

Something feels. . .off.

Like this is too easy.

And as we emerged from the halls, we immediately spotted dead bodies.

The dead bodies of the people we were in charge of saving.

"Oh no," I gasped, putting my hands over my mouth.

We're too late. . .

Itadori-kun ran to their torn and severed bodies, but stopped when he realized what had become of them. One of them had no skin and their body was wrapped within itself, and the other was completely cut in half.

"Atrocious," Kugisaki-chan muttered.

"Let's take this body back," Itadori-kun told us.

"Huh?"

"It's that woman's son," Itadori-kun added.

"But-"

"His face isn't too badly mangled. His mother won't accept it if we tell her he's dead, but we don't have a body," Itadori-kun wanted to do right by this, but. . .

Megumi-kun wasn't going to let him jeopardize the mission, "We have to find and verify two more. Leave that body behind."

"Quit joking around! We turned around, and the way we got in here was gone! We won't be able to come back for it later!"

"I didn't say to come back for it! I said to leave it behind!" Megumi-kun stated, but Itadori-kun was too hard-headed for that.

"I have no intention of risking my own life to save someone I had no intention of saving in the first place!"

Shit.

"No intention of saving him?! What do you mean?!" They both had eachother by their collars.

There's too much negative energy here.

I feel something, it's drawn to it.
