Well guys, here's chapter eight, I'm sorry it took a while, the university won't let me write as I want. I hope you like it, I chose to make this chapter a little cooler. I inform you that better things are coming for the plot.
Sokka
He felt Suki take him by the neck as he felt the first sensations of a new day.
Suki awakened in him an involuntary attraction, almost immediate to his face, welcomed the warmth of her skin on his neck. He vaguely thought about how well he was having fun with that young woman in front of his eyes, how supportive he was even if he wasn't with her for a long time.
For the past few days, Sokka's attention was totally on the council. What happened to Zhanxi put Toph's Metal Benders on alert. It's only a matter of time before all the tension wears off. The minister is complying within expectations.
Five days had passed since that supposed threat, and the new councilor no longer dared to leave with little security on the outskirts of Republic City. Rather, she had been organizing meetings in various sectors of the city to gather people and announce her new measures with the Citizens of the Earth Kingdom, all with the intention of relaxing the spirits among the people.
– What are you thinking? - The young woman whispered, giving him a sweet look.
— It's nothing, pretty — Sokka replied, freeing himself from Suki's grip.
Sokka was lost in thought, but what she said was true, he was just checking what happened in his mind to be aware.
— I hope and you have not forgotten what we will do today — she asked getting up to dress.
It is true
Katara and Aang had already moved to the Island Air Temple, so he had told Aang that one of these days he would visit them.
— Of course not — Sokka replied laughing — We have lunch and we go,
— How about your work? — She said worried, Sokka's work shouldn't be taken lightly.
— Don't worry, today there will be no councilors, there will be no training sessions ... today is the day to rest. —The Non-Bender promised as he hugged her and planted a kiss on her forehead.
Suki had no choice but to listen to him, as a part of her also wanted to relax a bit, do something different.
Both left home after having breakfast typical of their culture. They headed to the dock, where there were already a crowd of people doing their work. Loading and unloading of merchandise from the ships and blunderbuss that reached the shores of the City. The environment was loud. with people screaming everywhere.
The only means of transportation to get to the island was by boat.
How lucky is Aang to have Appa.
Aang didn't have to worry about transportation or anything like that, with Appa or his glider it was enough to go anywhere in the world.
— Isn't that cool? — Sokka asked to Suki as they both observed the panorama that the new island offered them.
— It certainly is — Confirmed the Kyoshi Warrior, admiring that structure. Where before there were only rocks and trees, now there was a sanctuary that would remain there for generations.
When they ran aground on the island's dock, they were greeted by acolytes who guided them to where the young and engaged couple was.
Upon entering that place, they saw the acolytes carrying furniture, chests, bookshelves, all kinds of things that Aang's companions might have. They would surely live in a part of the island.
