Chapter 10: A Mission

•Third Person View•

It was 3 am in the morning and Chaewon had her head leaned over the bathroom wall. She was still sleepy even whule taking a shower. She then thought about the reason why she needed to get up early.

•Yesterday•

"Attention, Heirs and Ms. Kim Chaewon, please proceed to the HM office."

Chaewon was a bit confused as to why she was called along with the heirs. Chaewon and the heirs never got really close. Since Chaewon would always distance herself from them. Chaeyeon, Sakura, Yuri and Yena were the only members of the heir she could speak comfortably to.

The other were, umm... cold (?) towards Chaewon. They would always give her the cold shoulder but the girl never minded them. She actually preferred to be alone.

•Eunbi's POV•

I think we should stop ignoring her. I admit, it's been quite a while since we've had friends whom are not royalty or an heir. It jas always been us 11. We were just waiting for our "prince" to come and rule beside us in our kingdoms.

To be honest, I've never felt anything for a boy before. But I do for girls. Wait, let me rephrase that. But I do for one girl. She's one of us. Kang Hyewon.

She's just so beautiful and charming. She says anything that is on her mind. Others doesn't like Hyewon because of her lacking of skills but we all know she's better than those haters right?

I know feeling about Hyewon this way is wrong and I will be disowned by my parents if ever they find out. I also can't set an example like this to my friends. I'm the oldest and basically their mother here in school.

If only this dimension wasn't a homophobe paradise. Every homophobes should just live here and we'll gladly stay there forever. I don't even understand why they hate gay people.

There has been some rumors going around as to why and the ones that they teach us in school is also a rumor so I just don't know what to think.

We then reached the HM's office. As I was about to knock, the girl named Kim Chaewon just bursted into the room. We were all shocked. The HM is known to being strict and very scary. Repect is something you need to have when it comes to the HM.

We followed pursit and as I was about to bow down and apologize for the girl's behaviour, the HM waved her hand off as a sign to not bow and apologize. We were confused and I think she knew since she answered.

"Don't worry. This girl may be cold and scary on the outide but she's soft in the inside. Oh and incase you were wondering, she and I have a history."

We then nodded our heads and sat down on the leather couches in the HM's office. Like seriously, even if I'm surrounded by gold and silver at the castle, nothing can beat the HM's office.

"You all might be wondering as to why I brought you here-"

"Yes, HM. We were eating lunch and you suddenly called us. Why is that?" Yena interupted.

Aish, this dumb duck.

"Please Yena-ssi, I was about to explain why."

"Oh, sorry. Please continue."

"*ehem* As I was saying before I was interrupted. You all will be having a mission-"

"A MISSION?! HM! WHAT IS THE MISSION?! I'M SO EXCITED! AREN'T YOU GAYS-UH I MEAN GUYS EXCITED?! Why us no one answering me?"

The room was filled with silence as a hyped up Yena interupted the HM.

"YAH! Choi Yena! Stop interupting!" Yuri scolded her bestfriend.

Yena then saw the others' stare at her and she then seated back down while pouting and sulking. "Joyul~! You were supposed to be on my side! I thought we were lov- bestfriends hehe." Yena said sulkingly like a child who couldn't buy a candy while scratching her face.

"So as I was saying, you will all be going on a mission to get the 3 gems. The 'Prince' hasn't been found yet so those three are our only hope."

The others nodded understandingly. They have been on many missions so this isn't new to them. But Minju noticed something.

"Excuse me HM, but why is she coming?" Minju asked while eyeing Chaewon suspiciously with her cold eyes.

"Well, Princess Kim. Kim Chaewon-ssi is currently the most powerful out of all of you. You need her help in order to get these gems because the enemy is also looking for them."

Chaewon just showed Minju her usual face which is colder than ice. She glared at Minju and said, "If you don't want me to come, then fine."

As the girl walked out, the HM could only sigh knowing Chaewon would still follow. The HM knows that Chaewon is very soft and kind hearted.

One by one, they went outside and into their dorm. It was a mystery to them on how a cold normal girl like Chaewon has powers greater than them.

Moon and Sun users were all dead and those are the only attuned who are stronger than them since these users can control all the elements except blood magik.

They went into their own rooms and packed what they needed for tomorrow morning. It will be a long 7 days.
