-Dryxmar Academy-
•Sam's POV•
"Psst. Pssssssssst. PSSSSSSS- OW! HEY!"
"Stop calling me psst, i have a name and no you can not say my name." I looked behind and saw Minju rubbing her head where I threw my book.
"Well, you didn't have to throw your book at my head." She said and pouted.
"Ew no, don't pout you look ugly." Lie.
"Oh sorry." She said and looked down.
"Don't say sorry. It doesn't suit you." Again, lie.
•Minju's POV•
I looked at her and tried my best to act cute but I guess it isn't working. Sigh.
We only have 3 weeks left. 3 Weeks to prepare. It was not supposed to be for a while but something changed. We didn't know what it was, but not only did it change the time, it also changed the fate of the world.
It was supposed to be either saved by the found heiress or not saved by the missing heiress. But this time, it was saved by the heiress, or be betrayed by the heiress.
•Sam's POV•
"Elise, we need to finish this. It's getting near and I can feel myself getting weaker. We need to find her right now, or else we'd be in grave danger. We can't let anyone follow us. If they find her, we'll be doomed for sure." I explained myself as I saw her still having fun and being carefree amongst the students.
It was a good thing that she became serious when she heard my mini speech. "Well then, when do we leave?"
•Elise's POV•
"Here." I directed her to a nearby cave where she's most likely to be.
"Do you think we'll be able to find her?" Sam asked me. "We need to. If not, then I can't imagine what will happen."
We looked over the map and saw 30 different tunnels that leads to certain things. Like the one in front of us leads to a place called tunnel of truth.
It's called that because once you enter you'll start to recite every secret you've been hiding.
While the one on me left is the tunnel of fear. Wherein your fears will start to come true. Of course its all illusions and you're the only one who'll experience it but it is a horrible experience.
"Let's take this tunnel then we need to turn right."
•Minju's POV•
"Has anyone seen Elise or Sam?" No one answered so the teacher continued. "If you see them, please tell them to go to the HM office."
I also have been getting worried for them both. I'm afraid of them getting hurt. Or worse. I looked over my friends and I know they also care for Sam and Elise.
How did this get so complicated. We need Elise. The battle is in 2 weeks and we can't win it without her. I also need to know if Sam is safe.
I hope they are.
-Chaewon's POV-
I look around me and it's dark. Just pure darkness around me. I can't remember what happened. All I know is that I need to get out. I'm needed somewhere. Wait, who am I?
-Sam's POV-
I look around and saw her body on top of the stone table. "Once we go back inside her, there's no turning back. Our fate has been sealed even before we were born." I said to Elise. I know. I intend to make it happen. I look at her nodded my head. I reached out both of my hands and slowly closed my eyes, chanting the words to a spell.
Just then, a blinding light came into view as we saw the portal to darkness. Empty darkness to be exact. It used to be full of light and energy but now, it's just empty. Elise and I looked at each other and went into the portal and felt myself fade as I give life to someone extremely important to this world.
-Minju's POV-
I was on my way to the dorm when I saw a blinding light in the distance. I look at the others and saw them gawking at the light. Just then an alarm has been sounded, "ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS. PLEASE PROCEED TO THE ARENA AND PREPARE FOR BATTLE."
Battle? The war isn't supposed to be today, it was supposed to be next week according to the Seer. I look behind me and saw my friends also confused. This isn't right, something is wrong and I'm convinced that, that light has something to do with it.
-Chaewon's POV-
A light, I see it. I came closer and closer until I saw a door full of light. I looked and saw two figures holding hands but the background was too bright to see their faces. But even so, I knew who they were. "Princess, save this world from darkness. May the light guide you through your final journey."
I smile and replied, "Thank you Sam, Elise." I look at their fading figure and slowly regain consciousness and saw darkness once again. But this time, it's different. I feel different. More powerful than before. I open my eyes fully and I can feel them glowing and my veins pulsing with power and energy. "I'm back."
-Minju's POV-
The skies that were once blue, now turned black and grey. A signal that our enemies are nearing. A war is about to be unleashed. I look back and saw my friends getting ready just like me, wearing heavy armor, grabbing our weapons and praying to the goddess to help us. Ever since Chaewon disappeared, we've been losing hope everyday. But I knew Chaewon is out there. I have faith in her.
Elise and Sam disappeared which caused me to lose the tiny hope that she might be Chaewon. I miss her. But this war. If it weren't for this I would've searched for her already.
I looked at our field and saw warriors that our parents gave in order for us to control this situation better. The people of this dimension were all evacuated to another dimension so if things go south, our people wouldn't be under their reign.
Every student were standing in line. Looking for a way to not die in the battlefield. We're the fronliners, while the warriors are beside us. Behind us are one of the strongest fighters and attuned in the academy. While the healers and not so strong fighters were at the middle and support was at the back.
"Nako! Let's go!" I shouted, she turned to me and nodded. I turned around and went to the frontline of the battlefield. No one spoke as we waited. A signal. A siren rung throught the school's property signaling the enemie's arrival. The siren, our breathings, and the wind were the only things you can hear.
Just then, the ground lowly shook, it was them. As the forest opened up, there were thousands. We charged with full force. Dragons and creatures alike were on their side.
"The War Has Begun!"
