Chapter 24: Elise

They were all left confused as to who this Elise was. Was she Chaewon? If not, then why does she look like her, was she a relative of Chaewon? Or maybe a lost twin sister?

The event has finished and even back in their dorms, they were still thinking. Who is she?

"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO GET RID OF HER?!" The angry king shouted. "Y-yes. But sir- I mean your majesty, the girl is dead and the princess is someone else."

The king slammed his hands on the arm rest of the golden throne making the soldiers beside him flinch.

"Then tell me. Who is that bastard girl?!"

"A-a person from t-the mortal realm your m-majesty." The soldier stuttered.

"Mortal realm huh? Then I guess visiting the princess would be a piece of cake hmm?" The king smirked thinking of a plan on how to get rid of both the heirs of Dryxmar.

"Minju unnie. I don't feel good about the princess. Something about her is just... off?" Yujin approached Minju and Wonyoung talking and butted in the conversation of the two.

"I know. It doesn't feel right but it also doesn't feel wrong. It's weird." Yujin stated while placing her arms around the two girls.

"Do you think that therr might be a slight chance that she's Chaewon unnie?" Wonyoung's eyes lightened up as she stated those words.

"If she is then, I don't know." Minju said coldly but the two girls knew better. They knew that Minju felt guilty about killing their friend due to mis judgement .

"I'm gonna go and see if she is. If she is her... I'll confess." Minju stated but whispering the last part making the two confused. But before they could ask, Minju took off.

After running around and teleporting to different locations of the academy, at last, she found the girl reading a book under a tree which would be a not-so-Chaewon-thing to do.

She stared as Elise flicked through the pages and pushed her eye glasses to keep them from falling.

Minju just stared at Elise admiring her from head to toe. 'Why does she look like her?'

"If you keep staring, I might melt." Minju was cut off of her trance when she heard those angelic voice. 'Damn. Even their voices sound alike.'

"You know, I can hear your thoughts. And who is this said girl? Is she perhaps, a past lover? Or maybe a past crush?" Elise teased and smirked when she saw Minju's face reddening.

"No. No she isn't. She's just a past ghost." Minju answered coldly. Elise was hurt hearing that because she's- "YOW! I thought I would find u here."

The 10 girls emerged from the entrance and sat beside the two girls. "What are you guys talking about?" Nako asked as she was closest to Elise.

"Nothing. Minju here was just about to tell me this girl. She was thinking too loud that I heard it." Elise explained.

"Oh. Who is it?" Yena being curious asked. "Someone who looks like me I think." Elise answered which made the girls froze.

"Um." Eunbi said filling in the thick and empty atmosphere. "So, you know? Wait, of course you do. Now who is it?"

The girls looked at each other contemplating on whether they would say it or not.
